TNA Impact wrestling 3.9.14 review - HAVOK is here

Here is my review of this weeks IMPACT WRESTLING show.

TNA Knockouts Championship - Gail Kim (c) vs. Taryn Terrell

Terrell and Gail circle each other and lockup in the center of the ring, they stalemate and shove each other away. Gail ducks under another lockup attempt and rolls Terrell up for a quick nearfall. Terrell catches Gail with a drop toehold and then a Monkey Flip. Terrell goes for a suplex but Gail counters into an inside cradle for another nearfall. Gail hits a series of forearms and then attempts a running dropkick, but Terrell catches her legs and slams her to the mat. Terrell rolls forward into a Bridging Jackknife for a nearfall of her own. Terrell attempts another Monkey Flip but Gail counters into a TKO attempt, but Terrell blocks it and counters into a rollup for another nearfall. Gail kicks out and counters into a nearfall of her own. Terrell and Gail exchange forearms and then Terrell hits a series of clotheslines. Terrell follows up with a Rolling Neckbreaker and then she climbs up top and dives off with a Flying Clothesline! 1…2…NO Gail kicks out!

Terrell climbs back up top but Gail cuts her off this time and climbs up with her. Gail hits a Frankensteiner off the top and then a Running Clothesline. Gail hits a Flying Armbar on Terrell and follows up with a Running Body Splash in the corner, but Terrell sidesteps her and Gail goes flying through the ropes and into the guardrail at ringside! Terrell climbs out with Gail and tosses her on the apron. Terrell climbs up with Gail but Gail shoves her onto the ring steps and then blocks a right hand attempt from Terrell and counters into a Neckbreaker on the steps! The crowd lost it after that spot and began chanting “better than divas.” A slow motion replay really showed how stiff that spot was for both girls. As they are almost both counted out Gail rolls back into the ring followed shortly after by Terrell. Gail hits Eat Defeat in the ring, 1…2…NO Terrell kicks out! Gail can’t believe Terrell kicked out and begins hitting her with a series of forearms. Gail goes for Eat Defeat again but this time Terrell blocks it and hits the Taryn Cutter! 1…2…NO Gail kicks out! Terrell climbs up top and hits a Flying Cross Body off the top but Gail rolls through into a pin! 1…2…3!

Winner & STILL TNA Knockouts Champion: Gail Kim via pinfall (rollup)

* TNA still got the better womans division for years now. With Gail Kim as champ and a lot of runner ups there are able to keep the level high. Top match and start of a new feud 8 of 10 points.

A woman wearing a gas mask and a cape looking like a super villain straight out of a comic book arrives through the tunnel. She takes her cape off and climbs in the ring. This is the “Havok” that TNA has been hyping for weeks, for you Indy fans out there that would be Jessicka Havok. Havok clotheslines both Gail and Terrell and then hits the Demon Drop (Kryptonite Krunch) on Terrell! Gail tries to fight back but Havok Chokeslams the absolute hell out of her! Havok hits the Demon Drop on Gail as well! She stacks Terrell and Gail on top of each other and poses over their prone bodies.

Shaw counters into a headscissors but Magnus escapes the hold and gets Shaw in another side headlock. Shaw shoves Magnus into the ropes but eats a shoulder block from the former champ. Magnus hits the ropes again but runs right into a big dropkick from Shaw! Magnus answers back with a scoop slam but as he reached down to pick Shaw up Shaw kicked him away. Shaw then hits an armdrag and locks in an armbar. Shaw tags Gunner into the match and they whip Magnus into the ropes and connect with a Double Back Elbow. Shaw hits a Leg Drop and Gunner covers Magnus for a nearfall. Magnus elbows Gunner away and tags Bram into the match.

Bram attempts a clothesline but Gunner ducks and hits a Knee Lift. Gunner and Bram exchange shots in the turnbuckles. Gunner just shrugs it away and begins slamming his own head against the turnbuckle getting fired up. Gunner slams Bram repeatedly into the turnbuckles but Bram pokes him in the eyes. Shaw tags himself into the match and checks on Gunner but Gunner shoves him away and tells him to get his head into the match. Bram blindsides Shaw with a Running Elbow for a nearfall. Magnus tags back into the match and hits a Vertical Suplex for another nearfall. Magnus gets another nearfall and then attempts a Powerslam, but Shaw blocks it and attempts a rollup. Magnus holds onto the ropes and then they clothesline each other. Shaw gets the hot tag to Gunner and Bram tags in as well. Gunner clotheslines Bram and then hits a back elbow and a series of headbutts.

Gunner hits a Splash in the corner and follows up with a Slingshot Suplex off the ropes! Gunner knocks Magnus off the apron and then dives off top with a Flying Knee, but Bram avoids it and as Gunner comes down he immediately grabs his knee and sells it like he injured it on the fall. Bram takes the knee out from under Gunner and then rolls him up for the pin.

Winners: Bram & Magnus via pinfall (rollup)

*after winning the feud against Abyss its very unlikely for TNA booking to let Bram lose against some wrestlers. I guess they will face the next tag champs after the 3 Way Series is over. 4 of 10 points.

* The X Disivion needs more TV time and not only multi wrestler matches. One on one or a 3way is the best for the speed wrestling style. Surprisingly Homicide won the match. not LowKi. 7 of 10 points.
