WWE RAW 22.7.14 results - No surprises at all

WWE Raw results:

- Triple H announced that he would choose John Cena’s SummerSlam opponent based on who impresses him tonight. This led to an argument between Battleground’s fatal fourway challengers — Randy Orton, Kane and Roman Reigns. They brawled, and Triple H made an impromptu handicap match.

1. Handicap Match: Roman Reigns defeated Randy Orton and Kane. Orton refused to tag Kane late in the match, allowing Roman Reigns to hit a Superman Punch and spear on Kane for the victory.

2. Handicap Match: Alicia Fox, Eva Marie, Rosa Mendes and Cameron defeated Nikki Bella.

This was 4-on-1 per Stephanie McMahon. Brie Bella was in the front row to cheer on her sister, but Stephanie showed up and confronted her. This led to Brie calling Stephanie a bitch, getting slapped and trying to jump the rail to attack. She was ejected. Nikki lost almost instantly.

3. Bo Dallas defeated Damien Sandow. Sandow was dressed as LeBron James because they’re in Miami. Bo got the win with a Bo-Dog.

- Bray Wyatt was supposed to be a guest on Chris Jericho’s Highlight Reel, but the Wyatts jumped Jericho backstage and it didn’t happen. Wyatt cut another long promo.

4. Dolph Ziggler defeated Intercontinental Champion The Miz. This was a non-title match. Ziggler won a back-and-forth match with the Zig Zag.

- Cesaro offered his services to The Authority, saying he was no longer a Paul Heyman guy.

5. Paige and AJ defeated Emma and Natalya. AJ hit Natalya with a Shining Wizard and made her tap out to the Black Widow. After the match, Paige turned on AJ, throwing her in the security railing, the ring post and over the announcers’ table.

6. Zack Ryder defeated Fandango. Summer Rae and Layla accompanied Ryder to the ring. Ryder hit a Rough Ryder on Fandango near the ropes. Fandango got his foot on the rope before the three, but Layla pushed it off.

- Heath Slater confronted Flo Rida backstage and got shoved down again, calling back to their moment at WrestleMania 28.

- Flo Rida performed old disco hits.

- Stephanie McMahon was apparently arrested for what happened earlier with Brie Bella.

7. Rybaxel defeated Big E and Kofi Kingston. Ryback pinned Kingston. After the match, Xavier Woods showed up dressed like Brother Love and told E and Kingston that they couldn’t move forward acting like they do. Appears to be a new Nation Of Domination-style faction forming.

8. Rusev defeated The Great Khali. Rusev defeated Khali by submission with The Accolade.

9. Cesaro defeated Dean Ambrose. Cesaro won by disqualification when Ambrose attacked Cesaro’s arm with a steel chair.

- Triple H attempted to announce Randy Orton as John Cena’s SummerSlam opponent, but Roman Reigns showed up and ran Orton off. Paul Heyman entered and gave Triple H a “plan C” — Brock Lesnar. Triple H accepted the offer, and now it’s Cena vs. Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam.

WWE Battleground 2014 results

Here are the results from last nights ppv:

Pre-Show:

1. Adam Rose beats Fandango via Pinfall with the Party Foul (01:20)

- this was all about the revenge from Layla and Summer Ray on Fandango. Not even worth for a preshow.

2. Cameron beats Naomi via Roll-Up (03:05)

- worst booking for Naomi ever. She is a good female wrestler these days and she´s not deserving that.

PPV:

1. WWE Tag Team Championship: 2-out-of-3 Falls Match: First Fall: Luke Harper & Erick Rowan def. The Usos (c) by Luke Harper pinning Jimmy Uso (c) following a big boot.

WWE Tag Team Championship: 2-out-of-3 Falls Match: Second Fall: The Usos (c) def. Luke Harper & Erick Rowan by Jey Uso (c) rolling up Luke Harper.

WWE Tag Team Championship: 2-out-of-3 Falls Match: Third Fall: The Usos (c) def. Luke Harper & Erick Rowan by Jimmy Uso (c) pinning Luke Harper following a double Superfly Splash to retain.

- nobody really believed that the Usos will keep the Tag Titles after tonight. AWESOME match with a slow start and great last 5 minutes. 9 of 10 points.

2. Divas Championship: AJ Lee (c) def. Paige by pin following the Shining Wizard to retain.

- right winner for me, good divas match but not as good as I hoped. One more match at Summerslam. 7 of 10 points.

3. Rusev (with Lana) def. Jack Swagger (with Zeb Colter) by count-out.

- good feud so far and Lana is still the best manager today. She´s a slobberknocker at the mic. The booking of the match was ok for me and the count out ending as well. 7 of 10 points too.

4. Seth Rollins def. Dean Ambrose by forfeit.

- with the injury of Seth Rollins last week the WWE did the best with it and hopefully we will see this match at SummerSlam. 4 of 10 points for the good brawl.

5. Chris Jericho def. Bray Wyatt (with Luke Harper & Erick Rowan) by pin following the Codebreaker.

- my favorite match of the card before the ppv and close to the great opener. Clear win for Jericho surprised me but make sence for a win for Bray at the SummerSlam to keep him over with the fans. Really good match for 8 of 10 points.

6. Intercontinental Championship: Battleground Battle Royal: The Miz def. Dolph Ziggler, Sheamus, Bo Dallas, Heath Slater, Cesaro, Kofi Kingston, Big E, Alberto Del Rio, Titus O’Neil, Ryback, Diego, Damien Sandow, Curtis Axel, R-Truth, Sin Cara, The Great Khali, Zack Ryder, & Xavier Woods to win the Intercontinental Title.

- Nearly everybody hoped for Ziggler to win the IC title. At the end he was the runner up for the MIZ. Hopefully the Miz vs Dolph Ziggler will feud for the title. 7 of 10 points.

7. WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Fatal 4-Way Match: John Cena (c) def. Randy Orton, Kane, & Roman Reigns by pinning Kane following the Attitude Adjustment on Randy Orton on top of Kane to retain.

- no surprise here. Cena won. Thats it. Thrilling till the end ( besides the winner ). Good push for Reigns as well on his way to a maineventer. Maybe Kane vs Orton at SummerSlam. 7,5 of 10 points.

WWE Battleground 2014 predictions

Here are my WWE BATTLEGROUND 2014 predictions:

I guess John Cena will keep the title until Brock Lesnar will beat him at SummerSlam.

really difficult to predict. I guess Bray will win this one but the feud will going on. That will be the match of the evening.

hopefully Naomi will win this one. She is a really good female wrestler.

its time for a title change and the Wyatts will win this one.

this one will bring the womans wrestling back in the spot where its belong. AJ will win the match but the feud is fare from over.

finally this match happend. I guess there will be no clear winner in this one. Dean Ambrose will win by DQ.

with Lana and Zep there are some pretty good managers at their sides. Rusev will this one for getting more heat from the fans.

Participants: Cesaro, Kofi Kingston, The Great Khali, Rob Van Dam, Dolph Ziggler, Big E, Ryback, Curtis Axel, Alberto Del Rio, Bo Dallas, Sheamus, Fandango, Sin Cara, Zack Ryder, The Miz, Diego, R-Truth, Xavier Woods, Heath Slater, Titus O'Neil

possible winners for me: Cesaro, Ziggler and Sheamus. I go with Ziggler.
