WWE Clash of Champions 2017 predictions

Here are my predictions for tonights WWE ppv Clash of Champions:

* WWE Championship Match: Champion AJ Styles vs. Jinder Mahal
-> Given all the circumstances, this should be the easiest call to make as far as predictions go, with The Phenomenal One a clear and decisive victor. Styles retain

* WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship Lumberjack Match: Champion Charlotte vs. Natalya
-> Natalya is old news and will be disposed of in favor of Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan, who will likely get the best out of Naomi, Lana, Tamina and Carmella on the outside while Flair makes The Queen of Harts submit. Charlotte retains

* WWE U.S. Championship Match: Champion Baron Corbin vs. Bobby Rodde vs. Dolph Ziggler
-> Since this has primarily revolved around Roode and Corbin trading shots with each other, with little focus on Ziggler, it raises suspicions that The Showoff is only included here to take the fall. Baron Corbin retains

* WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship Match: Champions The Usos vs. The New Day vs. Shelton Benjamin & Chad Gable vs. Rusev & Aiden English
-> hard to tell but its a) the Usos retaining or b) The New Day taking back the titles for yet another reign.

* Owens and Zayn’s Careers on the Line: Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens vs. Randy Orton and Shinsuke Nakamura (Special Referees: Shane McMahon & Daniel Bryan)
-> Orton sucks, so Owens and Zayn will win with the help of Daniel Bryan

* The Bludgeon Brothers vs. Breezango
-> There is no way The Fashion Police win this match, even with the surge in popularity Tyler Breeze and Fandango have received since adopting this gimmick last year. Bludgeon Bros wins

* Kickoff Show Match: Zack Ryder vs. Mojo Rawley
->  Zack Ryder should be looking for revenge after his teammate turned on him, while Rawley will be seeking to prove he was right in saying Long Island Iced Z kept him down.
Once they lock horns, the truth of the matter will be discovered. And it needs to end by demonstrating Rawley was justified. Mojo wins

WWE TLC 2017 predictions

Here are my predictions for tonights WWE ppv TLC ( or whats left oft it)

1 .Kurt Angle, Seth Rollins, & Dean Ambrose vs. The Miz & Braun Strowman & Kane & Cesaro & Sheamus
-> If it were the Shield, that’d be my easy pick. It’s still what I’m going with even with Kurt Angle replacing Roman Reigns. They still will want the Shield to be a strong trio for whatever they want at Survivor Series and 2/3 of them losing alongside Hall of Famer Kurt Angle won’t help that at all. Pick: The Olympic Shield wins

2. Alexa Bliss vs. Mickie James

-> The Raw women’s division is best known for baffling booking decisions and/or shock surprises. It’s entirely possible they go for shock value here and do a title change but I don’t see the value in it and it’s always been clear this was a stop gap for Bliss to get to something bigger and better.
Pick: Alexa Bliss retains

3. Kalisto vs. Enzo Amore
-> There are quite a few issues with the cruiserweight division but the reality is Enzo makes it more interesting when he’s holding the title.
Pick: Enzo Amore wins the Title

4. Asuka vs. Emma
-> Lol, Emma is so dead.
Pick: Asuka wins

5. The Demon vs. AJ Styles
-> If rumors of Bálor going on to fight Lesnar are true, he’ll need to get the win here. Then again, if AJ is facing off against Jinder soon, he’ll want to avoid a clean loss too. Since they’re still billing Finn as “The Demon” who is undefeated, I’ll go with Finn.
Pick: Finn Balor wins

6. Cedric Alexander & Rich Swann vs. The Brian Kendrick & Jack Gallagher
-> Can’t imagine this gets blown off as a tag, so Kendrick and Gallagher will pull some underhanded tactics and we’ll carry on.
Pick: Brian Kendrick & Jack Gallagher wins

7. Sasha Banks vs. Alicia Fox
-> I'm picking Sasha because she is usually given a decent spotlight on Raw, while Alicia is not a regular presence on television.
Pick: Sasha Banks wins

WWE Smackdown Live Results 9/26/17

(c) WWE

1. Baron Corbin defeated Tye Dillinger. Corbin’s theme song now has words. Before the match began, AJ Styles sat in on commentary. Mid-match. Corbin threw Dillinger into Styles, resulting in a countout. Corbin then challenged Styles to a US Championship match at Hell In A Cell, who accepted.

— Jinder Mahal took to the ring next and said he went too far making fun of Shinsuke Nakamura last week, and he is going to compliment him tonight. Instead, he went back to the insult well, showing pictures of Nakamura’s face and mocking him. The third photo of Nakamura turned out to be a live feed of Nakamura, who then came down to the ring and brawled with Mahal and the Singh brothers, eventually hitting a Kinshasa on Mahal.

2. The Usos defeated the Hype Bros. Before the match, the New Day came down to ringside with an armful of snacks. Mojo Rawley made a blind tag, confusing Zack Ryder, resulting in Jey Uso delivering a frog splash for the win. After the match, the New Day challenged the Usos to a match inside Hell In A Cell.

— For the start of the Pride of Bulgaria ceremony, Aiden English first introduced the mayor of Plovdiv, Rusev’s hometown, then sang the Bulgarian national anthem as Rusev made his way to the ring. The mayor declared today Rusev Day, and handed him a key to the city. Rusev then replayed his match against Randy Orton last week, declared that he destroyed the legend of the Legend Killer, and said Smackdown Live is his jungle now. English then sang Orton’s theme song with new lyrics, repeating “It’s Rusev Day!” This brought out Orton, who RKOed both English and Rusev. Orton later challenged Rusev to a match at Hell In A Cell.

— Backstage, Daniel Bryan told Sami Zayn that Shane McMahon was on his way to the arena and that he was coming for Kevin Owens. Zayn told Bryan to make Shane back off.

3. Charlotte Flair defeated Carmella. Flair scored the pinfall after a big boot. After the match, Natalya came out and called Charlotte overrated, and said she would fail at Hell In A Cell.

— Dolph Ziggler came out impersonating the Undertaker. He cut a promo insulting the crowd but was interrupted by Bobby Roode. Roode entered the ring and called Ziggler a hypocrite, then challenged him to a match at Hell In A Cell. Ziggler said Roode is everything that is wrong with WWE before accepting the match.

4. Kevin Owens defeated Sami Zayn. Owens hit Zayn with a powerbomb on the apron, which resulted in referee Charles Robinson calling for the bell, awarding the match to Owens via ref stoppage. As paramedics carried Zayn off, Owens attacked again with a steel chair, resulting in Shane McMahon running down and Owens fleeing through the crowd.

WWE No Mercy 2017 predictions

Here are my predictions for tonights WWE ppv No Mercy:

Universal Championship Match: Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Braun Strowman

If Strowman wins, then I'm all for it. However, I have zero faith that will happen, and by booking Lesnar to just beat Strowman, WWE will continue down the path of annoying me with the way the Universal Championship has been utilized for the entirety of 2017.
PREDICTIONS: Lesnar retains.

John Cena vs. Roman Reigns

Tell me one reason why this wouldn't be a better choice for WrestleMania 34's main event as opposed to another rematch between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar. I'm glad WWE is doing this in general, but I'm really annoyed that it's happening at No Mercy and sacrificing a true WrestleMania main event. The only hope I have at this point is that we don't get Reigns/Lesnar and that we also get Samoa Joe against John Cena, cause who else is there that will be a good enough opponent for Cena at Mania other than Reigns or Joe?
PREDICTIONS: Roman Reigns will win.

Raw Tag Team Championship Match: Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins (c) vs. Cesaro and Sheamus

I'm not a fan of how many rematches we get all the time with the brand split. Meh. This makes sense, but it's just so easy and it's so bland. I liked their match, so I'm interested in it from that aspect, but the feud itself does nothing for me.
PREDICTIONS: Ambrose and Rollins retain.

Raw Women's Championship Fatal 5-Way Match: Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Sasha Banks vs. Nia Jax vs. Emma vs. Bayley

I'm very, very happy this is how things went down instead of it being just Bliss vs. Banks again. This allows Emma to take a pinfall loss if Bliss retains and it also opens up the possibility of Jax winning the title (although I'd prefer Bliss to keep it). The practicality of the match is in question, but I'm confident enough that these five women will put on a decent show.
PREDICTIONS: Alexa Bliss retains.

Finn Balor vs. Bray Wyatt

This is the same match we got before, but without the face paint. Hope for BRAY to win this one.
PREDICTIONS: Bray Wyatt wins.

Cruiserweight Championship Match: Neville (c) vs. Enzo Amore

I'm really, really glad to see that Enzo Amore is now part of the 205 Live crew. It just makes so much sense for him to be a bigger fish in a smaller pond like this, particularly since he has more charisma and enthusiasm in his mic skills than nearly all of the rest of the roster combined. Enzo will bring a little more life and vitality to this situation. While the match he has with Neville might not match the energy of some of the contests we've seen before, the promos leading up to it will be a step up from what we normally get from the cruiserweight division.
PREDICTIONS: Neville retains.

Intercontinental Championship Match: The Miz (c) vs. Jason Jordan

There's definitely a chance Jordan walks out with the title, but I don't quite think so. It depends on how WWE wants to utilize certain people in the future. I can see Jordan winning it and being booked in a feud with Elias, Samoa Joe, etc going forward, but I can also see The Miz retaining and moving on to Roman Reigns or Finn Balor.
PREDICTIONS: The safe bet is for The Miz.

Kickoff Match: Elias vs. Apollo Crews

Elias wins, unless this is a legitimate feud.

WWE Smackdown Live Results 9/19/17

(c) WWE

1. Randy Orton defeated Aiden English. Orton won by pinfall with the RKO.

— After the match, Rusev came out and said he has become a national disgrace since he lost to Randy Orton in 10 seconds at SummerSlam. He said he wants his revenge right now.
2. Rusev defeated Randy Orton. Orton went for an RKO, but Rusev pushed him off, into Aiden English on the ring apron. Orton shoved English and wandered into a thrust kick, then was pinned by Rusev.

— Jinder Mahal and the Singh Brothers came to the ring. For the second week in a row, Mahal mocked Nakamura and said this was what he had to look forward to from the fans if he became champion. He insisted Nakamura should realize the fans aren’t worth it.

— AJ Styles came to the ring and shamed Kevin Owens for his actions, then ran down Baron Corbin, who he dubbed “The Shortcut King” and a failure. Baron Corbin came out for the United States Open Challenge, and the ring introductions were made, but before the bell could ring, Corbin attacked Styles from behind. When the referee managed to pull Corbin off and went to check on Styles, Tye Dillinger appeared and attacked Corbin. Dillinger tossed Corbin out of the ring and Corbin injured his ankle in the process.

Corbin rolled back in the ring and tried to tell the referee that he wasn’t well enough to continue, and clutched his ankle. Styles locked in the Calf Crusher and Corbin tapped out, but the match was never official.

— Charlotte Flair came to the ring to thank the fans for their support over these trying six weeks dealing with Ric Flair’s health concerns. She was interrupted by Natalya, who invited Charlotte to stay for her “Celebration of Women.” This was actually a celebration of Natalya, and Charlotte interrupted to challenge for Natalya’s Smackdown Women’s Championship. She was interrupted by Becky Lynch, then Naomi, then Lana and Tamina, all of whom staked their own claim to the title.
Natalya attempted to deny any of them a shot at the title, but Daniel Bryan appeared to make a main event No. 1 contender match between Charlotte, Becky, Tamina and Naomi.

3. The New Day defeated Hype Bros. This was a non-title match, and the Usos sat in on commentary. The New Day won by pinfall after hitting Zack Ryder with the Midnight Hour.

— Kevin Owens appeared via satellite to apologize for his actions last week, but said this was Shane McMahon’s fault, and that Shane got what he deserved.

— Dolph Ziggler came out to complain about the fans’ lack of respect. He mocked the entrances of Triple H, Shawn Michaels, and D-Generation X. He again called himself the best ever, and said he couldn’t care less about the fans.

6. Fatal 4-Way No. 1 Contender Match: Charlotte Flair defeated Tamina Snuka, Becky Lynch, and Naomi. This was for a Smackdown Women’s Championship match at Hell in a Cell. Tamina hit the Superfly splash on Lynch, but Naomi broke up the pinfall. Lana pulled Naomi out of the ring and Tamina hit Naomi with a superkick on the apron, then turned around into a big boot from Flair, who got the pin.

WWE Raw Results 9/18/17

1. Nia Jax defeated Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss. Jax pinned Bliss after a Samoan Drop. After the match, Bliss, Sasha Banks and a returning Bayley teamed up to fight off Jax. Banks and Bayley then teamed up to beat up Bliss. Bayley was then added to the Raw Women’s Championship match at No Mercy.

2. Raw Tag Team Champions Sheamus and Cesaro defeated Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose, and Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. Ambrose hit Anderson with Dirty Deeds, so Sheamus tossed Ambrose out of the ring and stole the pin.

3. Apollo Crews defeated Curt Hawkins with a spin-out powerbomb. Hawkins now has a 115 match losing streak.

4. Bray Wyatt defeated Dustin Rhodes. This was a followup to last week, when Bray wiped the paint off Goldust’s face. Rhodes put up a good fight, but lost to a Sister Abigail. After the match, Finn Bálor showed up on the TitanTron and told Wyatt that the man was more dangerous than the Demon.

5. Neville defeated Gran Metalik. Neville tore Metalik’s mask during the match, and won by submission with the Rings of Saturn.

6. Six-Pack Challenge: Jason Jordan defeated Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, Curtis Axel, Bo Dallas and Elias. Kurt Angle originally made a fatal four-way to determine the new number one contender for the Intercontinental Championship, but The Miz suggested Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas be added, and Jason Jordan agreed. Jason Jordan won the match with a backdrop into a neckbreaker on Curtis Axel, and will face The Miz for the IC title at No Mercy. After the match, Miz tried to attack Jordan but got suplexed twice. Dallas and Axel attacked Jordan, allowing Miz to hit a Skull-crushing Finale.
