WWE RAW 22.12.14 review - its almost christmas

Here is the latest RAW review:

The show opened with Hulk Hogan in a santa suit (aka “Ho Ho Hogan”). He was interrupted by John Cena and then Seth Rollins, and a Rollins vs. Cena match was made. This took 16 minutes.

1. John Cena defeated Seth Rollins. Rollins missed an attack with the Money in the Bank briefcase, and Cena hit an Attitude Adjustment for the win.

2. Fandango defeated Jack Swagger. Fandango won with a top rope leg drop.

3. R-Truth defeated Adam Rose. Truth countered a dance-off with a roll-up (basically?) to win. After the match, Rose beat up The Bunny.

4. Roman Reigns defeated Big Show. Reigns hit Show with a Superman Punch that knocked him backwards over the announce table. Show couldn’t answer the 10 count, and Reigns won by count-out.

5. Natalya defeated Brie Bella. Brie countered the Sharpshooter in a roll-up, which Natalya countered into a roll-up of her own for the win. Tyson Kidd wore Nikki Bella’s hat.

6. Los Matadores defeated Gold and Stardust. El Torito dressed like Rudolph and pinned Goldust.

7. Intercontinental Championship Match: Dolph Ziggler (c) defeated Luke Harper. Ziggler won a competitive match after two superkicks and a Zig Zag.

- Rowdy Roddy Piper interviewed Lana and Rusev (briefly) on Piper’s Pit. He brought out Ryback wrapped in a bow, and Ryback and Rusev brawled.

8. Alicia Fox, Emma and Naomi defeated Paige, Cameron and Summer Rae. Alicia pinned Cameron to win the match for her team. Everybody was in Christmas costumes.

9. The Miz defeated Jey Uso. Miz won with a roll-up and a handful of tights.

10. Miracle on 34th Street Fight: Bray Wyatt defeated Dean Ambrose. This was the annual no-DQ Christmas match, where wrestlers beat each other up with presents and Christmas trees. Wyatt knocked Ambrose off a ladder with a thrown chair, then ran Ambrose’s face into a propped-up candy cane to win the match. After the match, Ambrose sprayed Wyatt with a fire extinguisher and put him through a table with an elbow drop.

WWE TLCaS 2014 results and review

Here are the results and my thoughts about last nights ppv

1. Ladder Match for the Intercontinental Championship: Dolph Ziggler defeated Luke Harper to become the new Intercontinental Champion. Ziggler superkicked Harper off a ladder and grabbed the title to become the new champ.

** best opener in years and the right winner. Both men got bad injuries but ready to go on at RAW. 9,5 of 10 points.

2. Tag Team Championship Match: The Usos defeated The Miz and Damien Mizdow (c). Miz hit the Usos with his Slammy Award, drawing a disqualification.

** best in this match was Damien Mizdow. Leave the rest. 4 of 10 points.

3. Stairs Match: Big Show defeated Erick Rowan. Show knocked out Rowan with a punch, then covered him with the ring steps for the pin.

** good match for that size of wrestlers. Like the idea of a stairs match. 7 of 10 points.

4. Tables Match: John Cena defeated Seth Rollins. A pre-match stipulation said that if Cena lost, he would no longer be #1 contender to the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Cena put Rollins through a table with an Attitude Adjustment off the ropes, but the referee was knocked out. J&J Security attacked, but Cena put them through a table with a double AA. Cena and Rollins fell off the apron and went through tables at the same time, but the referee couldn’t determine which man went through first, so the match continued.

Big Show interfered and tries to take out Cena, but Roman Reigns made his return to make the save. Reigns Superman Punched Show and Rollins, and Cena put Rollins through another table with another AA for the win.

** Cena won as promised but nobody want to see Cena vs Lesnar III at the Rumble. Hopefully Rollins will cache in the briefcase on Cena and will win it to face Reigns at WrestleMania. 7 of 10 points too.

5. Divas Championship Match: Nikki Bella (c) defeated AJ Lee. Brie Bella distracted the referee, allowing Nikki to spray AJ in the face with hair spray and hit the Rack Attack for the win.

** last match for AJ in WWE?! So we knew that Nikki will keep the title. Match was ok for 6 points of 10.

6. Chairs Match: Ryback defeated Kane. Ryback pinned Kane after Shell Shocked.

** Ryback still lame and no wrestler at all. 5 of 10 points.

7. United States Championship Match: Rusev (c) defeated Jack Swagger. Rusev won when Swagger passed out in the Accolade.

** waste of time and not worth the ppv time. 2 of 10 points.

8. TLC Match: Bray Wyatt defeated Dean Ambrose. Wyatt won with Sister Abigail after Ambrose tried to hit him with a plugged-in television that accidentally exploded. Read that sentence a few times.

** not as good as the opener but still the second best match of the evening. Both wrestlers are on the way to the mainevent level. Still like Bray Wyatt better as wrestler. And he was the right winner for the match. 8,5 of 10 points.

WWE TLCaS 2014 predictions

Here are my predictions of tonights WWE ppv:

Jack Swagger vs. Rusev (United States Championship)
** Rusev will win this match. Maybe Sheamus will return and challange him for another match

AJ Lee vs. Nikki Bella (Divas Championship)

** Nikki will keep the title and AJ will leave WWE for now

Erick Rowan vs. Big Show (Steel Stairs match)

** Big Show will win this one and is on the way to one of the top heels today

Dolph Ziggler vs. Luke Harper (Ladder match for the Intercontinental Championship)
** Harper will keep the title. I hope for the highlight of the evening

The Usos vs. Damien Mizdow and the Miz (Tag Team Championship)
** possibly the only match where the title could change. Maybe a split between the champs starts tonight

Ryback vs. Kane (Chairs match)
** Kane is the jobber these days so Ryback will win this match.

Dean Ambrose vs. Bray Wyatt (TLC match)
** another highlight on the card. Hopefully they will get the time to show something great. Bray will win this one. But the feud is far from over.

Seth Rollins vs. John Cena (Tables match)
** As we know WWE - Cena will win this match.Maybe Orton will interfere and attack Rollins.

WWE RAW results 8.12.14 - Slaaaaaammmmmyyyyyys

Back from a 3 vacation where we met The Rock in Miami during filming of HBO´s new series Ballers.

1. Seth Rollins defeated Dolph Ziggler. J&J Security distracted the referee and pushed Ziggler off the top rope, leaving him open for a Curb Stomp from Rollins.

- Seth Green gave the “This is Awesome” Moment of the Year Slammy Award to Sting’s WWE debut at Survivor Series. Seth Rollins accepted it, saying Sting didn’t deserve it.

2. Kofi Kingston defeated Stardust. Kofi won with a high crossbody.

- Former Executive Vice President Of Talent Relations And General Manager Of Both Raw And Smackdown John Laurinaitis presented the Surprise Return of the Year Slammy. Ultimate Warrior won.

3. Natalya defeated Charlotte. The NXT Women’s Champion made her (unofficial?) Raw debut to help promote Thursday’s NXT Takeover: R-Evolution special. Natalya countered a figure-four into a pin to win the match.

- Santino presented the OMG! Shocking Moment of the Year Slammy to Brock Lesnar for breaking the Undertaker’s streak at WrestleMania. Paul Heyman accepted on Brock’s behalf.

- Bray Wyatt cut a promo about his broken rocking chair and crushing Dean Ambrose’s trachea on Smackdown. Ambrose arrived in an ambulance full of smoke and weapons and fought off Wyatt with a table, a ladder and a chair. Ambrose claimed the only way Wyatt would leave TLC is in the back of an ambulance.

- Jerry Lawler awarded the Diva Of The Year Slammy to AJ Lee.

4. Erick Rowan defeated Intercontinental Champion Luke Harper. Rowan won by disqualification when Harper hit him with a ladder.

- Miz’s agent has an opportunity for Naomi in Hollywood. Jimmy Uso is upset about it and wants to chaperone her.

- Adam Rose and the Rosebuds presented the Slammy for LOL Moment of the Year. Damien Mizdow was the winner. Miz accepted on Mizdow’s behalf.

5. Ryback and The Usos defeated Kane, The Miz and Damien Mizdow. Mizdow got a great reaction for everything he did. Ryback pinned The Miz after Shell Shocked to win the match.

- Ricky ‘The Dragon’ Steamboat presented the Match of the Year. The winner was Team Cena vs Team Authority at Survivor Series. Dolph Ziggler accepted the award.

6. AJ Lee defeated Summer Rae. AJ won by submission with the Black Widow.

- Rob Van Dam presented the Extreme Moment of the Year Slammy. Chris Jericho diving off a steel cage onto Bray Wyatt was the winner. Fandango accepted, for some reason.

- Booker T presented Superstar Of The Year to Roman Reigns.

7. John Cena defeated Big Show. Cena won by DQ when Seth Rollins interfered. Rollins and J&J Security tried to Curb Stomp Cena off a ladder, but Dolph Ziggler made the save. Big Show knocked out Ziggler and Cena. Erick Rowan tried to help, but Luke Harper attacked him from behind. Harper and Show tossed him into the ringside steps. Ryback showed up and took out Harper and Show. He tried to Shell Shock Harper, but Kane attacked him with a steel chair. This is a long paragraph full of random names. Big Show tried to put Ziggler through a table with a chokeslam, but Ziggler countered and superkicked him out of the ring. Harper then put Ziggler through the table. Cena popped back in to take out Harper, and then Rollins Curb Stomped Cena. Rollins and J&J Security put Cena through the announce table with a powerbomb to end the show.
