WWE Royal Rumble 2015 review - CRAP

WWE Royal Rumble 2015 Results:

Pre-show match: The Masters of the WWE Universe (Cesaro and Tyson Kidd) with Natalya and Adam Rose defeated The New Day (Big E and Kofi Kingston) with Xavier Woods. This was originally a six-man tag. Kofi Kingston ate an uppercut from Cesaro, sending him into a twisting suplex from Kidd.

-> the only good surprise for me with letting CESARO and KIDD winning this match. 7 of 10 points.

1. The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor) defeated The New Age Outlaws (Road Dogg and Billy Gunn) Billy Gunn set up for the Fameasser, but before he could Konnor got the blind tag. The Ascension win with The Fall of Man.

-> The Ascension versus Road Dogg and Billy Gunn has got to be one of the weirdest decisions for an opening match in a long time. No storyline, no match - no interest at all. 2 of 10 points for the funny entrance of the Outlaws.

2. Tag team match for the WWE Tag Team Championship: The Usos (Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso) (c) defeated The Miz and Damien Mizdow: The Usos retain after Jimmy splashes the Miz from the top rope.

-> Miz and Mizdow vs. The Usos was fun while it lasted, but it’s nothing. They haven’t had a story since then but the matches keep happening. It’s like an echo. They’ll tease a little Mizdow team dissension, but he’s been on that track since August. They aren’t pulling the trigger on anything, and there aren’t other teams to wrestle. 4 of 10 points.

3. Paige and Natalya vs. The Bella Twins (Brie Bella and Nikki Bella): Natalaya ducks a clothesline and tries for the tag, but Paige is pulled from the apron by Brie. Nikki nearly takes Natalya’s head off with a running forearm, then gets the pin.

-> I like the new team of Paige and Black Natalya but the match was crap at all. 2 of 10 points.

4. Triple threat match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Brock Lesnar (c) (with Paul Heyman) defeated John Cena and Seth Rollins (with Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury): Brock Lesnar F5ed Seth Rollins for the win.

-> finally a good match on a ppv card. Maybe the best match for a long time. Seth really got it, Brock too and Cena is still Cena. Only trademark moves for this offense. Hoping for Brock vs Seth for the next ppv FAST LANE. 9 of 10 points for a great match.

5. Roman Reigns wins the 2015 Royal Rumble Match: Surprise entrants included Bubba Ray Dudley, The Boogeyman, and DDP. It came down to Big Show, Kane, Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns. Big Show and Kane eliminated Dean Ambrose, then Roman Reigns looked very strong and eliminated both Kane and Big Show. Kane and Big Show got back in the ring to beat up Reigns, but then the Rock showed up, and also looked very strong. He served Kane a People’s elbow. But surprise, Rusev was never eliminated! He gets back in the ring, only to be eliminated by Reigns almost immediately. The show ends with deafening boos.

-> sorry WWE booking team but this Battle Royal and most of the Rumble 2015 really sucks. Thank good for some surprising entrances like Bully Ray and the Boogyman. Hope for something BIG like the UNDERTAKER to win the Rumble or STING. Or even Triple H. But hey- WWE are the brand without any surprises at all. I liked the 90thies with many surprises, funny promos and storylines... But today is mostly crap.

3 of 10 points for the BattleRoyal and the PPV too.

WWE Royal Rumble 2015 predictions

Here are my predictions for tonights WWE ppv

I guess NEW DAY is still in the making to get over with the fans. Bad for CESARO but he and his team will lose again.

Still dont understand the 45678th match between both teams after the USOS beat them over and over again. Hopefully Mizdow will finally turn again The Miz. Winner and still champs: USOS

Why no DIVAS Title match at the RUMBLE? Or a 4 Way? Nikki or Brie or whoever will keep the title until WrestleMania. Its a shame that KONG is back in TNA.

The first big opponents for the Legion of Doom 2015 or whatever their name is. I bet they will lose to the Outlaws.

The best match on the card so far. And I guess Brock will keep the title. Maybe Seth will surprise us all and will cache in the MitB briefcase after the match for a second chance.

Main Event of the evening - maybe just maybe we will see not ROMAN REIGNS as the winner. Maybe Sting, maybe Jericho, maybe The Undertaker for a return match again Brook Lesnar at WrestleMania. MY TOP 4 are - Reigns, Ziggler, Bryan and Wyatt.
