WWE WrestleMania 31 results and review

Here is the WrestleMania 31 review

1. Tag Team Titles 4 Way match

very good opener even its sad to see the tag teams in the kick off show. Sharpshooter for the bull. Thank god Cesaro and Kidd retain the tag titles. 8 of 10 points.

2. Battle Royal

ok, Big Show won and finally Miz and Mizdow split. 6 of 10 points.

3. IC Title Ladder match

no surprise here with Daniel Bryan winning the match. WWE bookers could make more out of it. But the match and the winner were ok for my taste. Good opener as well. 8 of 10 points.

4. Seth Rollins vs Randy Orton

Great match but a little bit too short. With only 7 matches on the card there were much more time for this one. Great finish at the end and I guess the feud will be continuing after the main event. 8 of 10 points

5. Sting vs Triple H

Why these drum fors Sting? Makes no sence to me. Great entrance from Hunter. Both men can show much more in the ring but the whole match was about NWO vs DX. I guess nobody thought about that before it happend. Triple H won but there will be a rematch at WM 32. 6 of 10 points.

6. Paige and AJ Lee vs Bella Twins

Sadly its no 4 Way for the title. The match was ok for a divas match. 6 of 10 points.

7. US Title match

Cena won. Lame even with his one new move. Lana was the best part in this match. 7 of 10 points.

- Triple H, Steph and The Rock promo. Startet great with a way too long ending.

8. Bray Wyatt vs The Undertaker

Really good storyline. And the whole match was about Bray Wyatt. Everybody could see how old The Undertaker is. Wyatt deserved the victory but the win for The Undertaker is ok too. 8 of 10 points and hopefully the last match of The Undertaker. 8 of 10 points

9. WWE World Title match

Brock Lesnar dominats almost the whole match with suplexes. Reigns got some good moments but not worth a title win. And thank god Seth Rollins cacheing in the golden briefcase and won the WORLD TITLE. No clear loss for Lesnar too. 8 of 10 points for the mainevent.

WWE WrestleMania 31 predictions

Here are my predictions for tonights WWE WrestleMania 31 ppv

[Pre-Show Tag Team Championship Fatal 4-Way]: Tyson Kidd and Cesaro (c) vs. The Usos vs. The New Day vs. Los Matadores

WWE has announced this match for the kickoff even with Jey Uso's shoulder injury. At the moment, there's no clarification as to whether this is an elimination match or just a one-fall scenario, but I'd expect it to be elimination based.

PREDICTION: Tyson Kidd and Cesaro retain.

[Pre-Show] 2nd Annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal

Amazing that they bumped this to the kickoff section of the show when they have four hours. They would be able to fit it in if they didn't have multiple musical performances...just saying. This is stupid anyway, though. It made sense to do this at WrestleMania 30, but to do it every year? Why would you have it so close to the Royal Rumble? That's the same idiotic booking that resulted in Bragging Rights being right next to Survivor Series. WWE could have figured out a different way to get a lot of people on the card, but I guess it was just too hard to think about it for 15 minutes. Expect to see a lot of people thrown into the mix here instead of given a proper spot. Thankfully, WWE is giving an NXT guy a chance to be in this match. Could this be fun? Of course. Battle royals are always fun. But could this have been booked so much better? You bet.

Confirmed participants so far: The Miz, Curtis Axel, Ryback, Adam Rose, Fandango, Zack Ryder, Jack Swagger, Titus O'Neil, Darren Young, Kane, Big Show, Erick Rowan, Heath Slater, Sin Cara, Goldust, Mark Henry, Konnor, Viktor, Hideo Itami

PREDICTION: Big Show or Sheamus.

Seth Rollins vs. Randy Orton

This match is going to be somewhere in the middle of the card and has a lot of potential to be a solid B+ segment. The biggest determining factor in the quality of this match is pacing issues. If WWE gives them a short amount of time, it could be disastrous, but if the match is too long, we could be in for a lot of Randy Orton rest holds, which will just be a waste of time. These two are talented and they could put on a great show, but it isn't as simple as announcing the match and having it be a guarantee. They'll need to plan this out in a way that will be beneficial to both men.

PREDICTION: Randy Orton wins with an RKO out of nowhere after Rollins also looks strong in the match.

[WWE United States Championship]: Rusev (c) vs. John Cena

I said before that WWE would be making a mistake by having this match at Fastlane and I stand by that previous assumption. Fastlane did more to hurt this feud than it did to help it. I no longer have the "first match between the two" idea to get into, nor do I give a shit about how Rusev cheated. I expect this to just be another situation where Cena wins by making Rusev tap, rendering this entire build that Rusev's had just to end with another stereotypical Cena victory.

PREDICTION: lol - Cena wins.

The Bella Twins vs. Paige and AJ Lee

If this card wasn't loaded up with so many gimmicks already, I would have suggested a Fatal 4-Way for the title instead. Hopefully, this isn't given much time. For those who want to say that this should because of the #GiveDivasAChance concept, I ask you if a tag team match is really worth it. This has nowhere to go but down, so sacrifice it and let these four women have a kick ass match at Extreme Rules instead to make up for it.

PREDICTION: The Bella Twins win by cheating

[The Streak...er...wait...nevermind]: Undertaker vs. Bray Wyatt

I have almost no hopes that this match will be that good. Bray Wyatt is far from the best in the ring and struggles when facing someone he doesn't have chemistry with. Undertaker could very well be in bad shape, too. The longer this goes, the worse it will be. Hopefully, it will be kept short to allow for a "less is more" approach. It just doesn't have the same mystique as when the streak was still going.

PREDICTION: Undertaker wins.

[WWE Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match]: Bad News Barrett (c) vs. Dean Ambrose vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. R-Truth vs. Luke Harper vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Stardust

Keeping in mind the rumor about elevating the midcard titles, it makes sense for a big name to win this. Of course, the biggest name out of the bunch is Daniel Bryan, so he's the easy pick. That being said, it isn't written in stone that he will win. Dean Ambrose is a big enough star in his own right and Dolph Ziggler isn't unpopular, either. Then again, this could all just be a swerve with Bad News Barrett retaining since not many people think that will happen. As far as the quality of this match goes, I'm expecting it to be the match of the night for sure. Ladder matches are fun and this program has been interesting with everyone stealing the championship, so I'm looking forward to this. I'm also looking forward to what comes afterward.

PREDICTION: A new champion is crowned whether it is Bryan, Ziggler or Ambrose. Out of those three, Daniel Bryan makes the most sense.

Triple H vs. Sting

This could be a lot of fun and I'm curious to see what stipulation they specify for it, although I'm assuming it will be a generic Street Fight or no disqualification match with just one of the many names they have for that.

PREDICTION: Sting wins.

[WWE World Heavyweight Championship]: Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Roman Reigns

Fans may be pissed about Roman Reigns winning the Royal Rumble, but too bad. I've expressed my thoughts on that overreaction in various ways, so I won't go over all of those opinions here once more. As far as this match itself, I think this has potential, although it definitely won't be the best match of the night. Hopefully, fans don't shit all over it without giving it a chance, because they'll be ruining it for themselves and creating a problem for the next few months that doesn't need to happen. Whether Roman Reigns is ready for this spot is one thing to argue, but if this ends up being nothing but chants for Daniel Bryan, it'll ruin it for anyone who actually does have interest in the match. I still think Lesnar's title reign should have been more dominant and had more people involved instead of just John Cena with a tiny bit of Seth Rollins sprinkled on top. If he had defeated the likes of Randy Orton and others while defending his title more often, it would mean a lot more for Reigns to defeat him here. Now that Lesnar has re-signed with WWE for a multi-year deal, though, it's starting to look as though Reigns won't be winning the title here. Rumors have been going around that WWE wants to elevate the United States title and the Intercontinental title to compensate for Lesnar not being there that often to defend the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, so that is predicated on Lesnar retaining.

PREDICTION: Brock Lesnar retains. No cash-in from Seth Rollins.
