WWE Raw Results 12/14/15 - Vince is back

(c) wwe

The show opened with Stephanie McMahon confronting Roman Reigns about what happened to Triple H at TLC. She called Reigns a disgrace, so Reigns called her entire family a disgrace. She slapped him several times, then announced that Vince McMahon would be returning tonight.

WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders And Chairs 2015 Results

1. Ladder Match for the WWE Tag Team Championship: The New Day (c) defeated The Usos and Lucha Dragons. Kalisto hit a massive Salida del Sol from the top of a ladder in one of many match highlights. Kofi Kingston pulled down the belts to win the match.

-> WOW what an opener. Great moves from all teams and Sin Cara didn´t screw up this time. Right winner at the end with NEW DAY. 9 of 10 points.

2. Rusev defeated Ryback. Ryback passed out in the Accolade to give Rusev the win.

-> thank god RUSEV won. 2 of 10 points.

3. Chairs Match for the United States Championship: Alberto del Rio (c) defeated Jack Swagger. Del Rio won after a Tree of Woe double-stomp onto chairs.

-> pretty good match. A little bit too short for my taste but with some great chair moves. 7 of 10 points.

4. 8-man Tag Team Elimination Tables Match: The Wyatt Family defeated Team ECW. The Dudley Boyz eliminated Erick Rowan with a 3-D through a table. Luke Harper eliminated Rhyno, followed by Bray Wyatt eliminating D-Von Dudley. Harper eliminated Dreamer, and Braun Strowman chokeslammed Bubba Ray through a table to win the match.

-> should be the match of the night but the opener stole the show. The Wyatts are the best group these days in WWE but they are running out of opponents. Maybe against the League of Nations? 8 of 10 points.

5. Intercontinental Championship Match: Dean Ambrose defeated Kevin Owens (c). Ambrose countered a pop-up powerbomb into a hurricanrana to become the new Intercontinental Champion.

-> surprisingly the title change of the night. Didn´t thought about it. Lets see whats on the horizon for KO. 7 of 10 points.

6. Divas Championship Match: Charlotte (c) defeated Paige. Ric Flair cheated for Charlotte to prevent Paige from winning. Charlotte retained after sending Paige into an exposed turnbuckle.

-> Charlotte on her way to be a heel but not totally there yet. A feud against Becky Lynch is reachable for 2016. Good divas match, right winner. 7 of 10 points too.

7. TLC Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Sheamus (c) defeated Roman Reigns. The League of Nations interfered, allowing Sheamus to win the match. After the match, Reigns violently attacked the League with a chair. Triple H tried to intervene, so Reigns attacked him as well. He put HHH through a table with an elbow and speared him.

-> A good match from both wrestlers. And again lame booking with the interfeering from the League. Reigns versus Hunter is the replacement for Rollins vs Hunter. "THANK YOU ROMAN" chants for putting Triple H thrue a table. 8 of 10 points.

WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders And Chairs 2015 Predictions

1. TLC Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Sheamus (c) vs. Roman Reigns

People are pretty much assuming Roman will win here, but I think WWE will go with Sheamus for a bit longer. Reigns loses due to outside interference from the League of Nations. Maybe he’ll cry again in the end.

2. Intercontinental Championship Match: Kevin Owens (c) vs. Dean Ambrose

Ambrose cannot win here. He just can’t. I believe with all my might that we’re living in the universe where Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn at WrestleMania for the Intercontinental Championship. Owens will retain.

3. Ladder Match for the Tag Team Championship: The New Day (c) vs. Lucha Dragons vs. The Usos

This should be your match of the night. The New Day’s absurdist comedy plus the violence of ladder matches could be something special. The Usos are good hands to have in matches like this even if they aren’t individually spectacular, and Kalisto is more or less individually spectacular enough for everyone. God bless Sin Cara if he makes it through the match without falling off something and hurting himself. The New Day should absolutely retain

4. Divas Championship Match: Charlotte (c) vs. Paige

You’ve got Flair there for a reason. I see Charlotte retaining, and I hope it revolves around her going full-on nuclear heel.

5. 8-Man Elimination Tables Match: The Wyatt Family vs. The Dudley Boyz, Tommy Dreamer and Rhyno

If the Wyatt Family as a combined unit can’t beat a bunch of 40-year olds in t-shirts, I don’t even know.

6. Chairs Match for the United States Championship: Alberto Del Rio (c) vs. Jack Swagger

This should be an easy win for Del Rio, dressed up to look like a difficult one. I just hope they find a way to have Swagger set himself up for the Tree of Woe double-stomp while holding a chair, just to see how they do it and how long it takes.

7. Ryback vs. Rusev

If we’re being honest, the finish here should be Rusev murking Ryback and winning clean by submission, because Rusev probably still has a future and Ryback’s gonna be an ice cold, merch-peddling action figure whether he wins or loses. If we can get out of this without any dumb personal or sexual storylines escalating, we’ll consider it a victory.
