Survivor Series 2016 predictions

Here are my predictions for tonights WWE Survivor Series:

1. Singles Match – Gold Berg Vs BrockLesnar

-> This one’s tough. The easy call is to give Lesnar his win back, but Goldberg’s been surprisingly intense thus far, and I kind of want to see him become the Hero of Children that he’s been trying to be. I mean, Goldberg spearing Brock Lesnar out of his boots for a clean pinfall would hardly be the weirdest occurrence of 2016. Hardly. But still, I’d feel like a fool picking against Lesnar here. I’ve got Brock.

2. Survivor Series 5 On 5 Elimination Match.
Team Raw (Kevin Owens, Chris Jericho, Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, and Seth Rollins) Vs Team SmackDown (AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose, Bray Wyatt, Randy Orton, and Shane McMahon)

-> Barring an interference from The Undertaker or something else crazy happening, I feel like Raw is going to take this one. James Ellsworth will probably cause someone a pinfall. In the end, I think Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins are your survivors.

3. Survivor Series 5 On 5 Womens Elimination Match.
Team Raw (Charlotte Flair, Bayley, Nia Jax, Alicia Fox, and Sasha Banks) Vs Team SmackDown (Nikki Bella, Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss, Carmella, and Naomi) (with Natalya)

-> Possibly the most talented group of women the WWE has had in one ring at one time. This match is going to make me seriously depressed that they’re not all together on one brand. This is a tough one. I could see Smackdown coming out on top with Nikki as the sole survivor. But my gut tells me it’s probably going to be Raw, with Charlotte and maybe Nia Jax surviving in the end.

4. Survivor Series 10 On 10 Elimination TagTeam match
(The New Day (Big E and/or Kofi Kingston and/or Xavier Woods), Sheamus and Cesaro, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, Enzo Amore and Big Cass, and The Shining Stars (Primo and Epico)) Vs Team SmackDown (Heath Slater and Rhyno, The Hype Bros (Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley), American Alpha (Jason Jordan and Chad Gable), The Usos (Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso), and Breezango (Tyler Breeze and Fandango))

-> Despite which side you’re taking, I think we can all agree that 18 dudes standing on the apron waiting for their respective hot tags is going to be ridiculous and make the match practically unwatchable for anyone in the first few rows just because they won’t be able to see shit. However, I am anxiously awaiting Breezango furiously issuing fashion police citations to Enzo Amore. Team Raw wins, survivors are Cass and Big E.

5. Cruiserweight Championship Match
Kalisto Vs Brian Kendrick. – If Kalisto Wins, Curserweight Team Shifts to Smackdown from Raw.

-> Gotta stick with the man with the plan here. Brian Kendrick rising out of his own ashes is one of my favorite things in wrestling right now, and he should be given the opportunity to become the villain of the division. And come on, you gotta keep the division on Raw. We absolutely need three hours for all the riveting… nah, I couldn’t do it with a straight face. Still, Kendrick is the pick here.

6. WWE Intercontinental Championship Match
Sami Zayn Vs The Miz – If Zayn wins title gets transffered to raw.

-> Sami Zayn beats The Miz, wins the Intercontinental Championship, and it’s then revealed that Sami has signed with Smackdown.

NXT TakeOver: Toronto Predictions

Here are my predictions for tonights NXT TakerOver Toronto ppv.

NXT Championtitel Match
Shinsuke Nakamura (c) vs. Samoa Joe

Samoa Joe has been asking for a rematch, and since it's too early to take the belt from Nakamura, this is the logical step that is being planned. I wholeheartedly expect Bobby Roode to be the next in line for the title at the next TakeOver or possibly the one after that, and I think when Joe loses this match, he'll transition to the main roster either by just coming up out of nowhere or making a surprise appearance in the Royal Rumble. For now, another match between these two is fine, and it should be good. PREDICTIONS: Nakamura retains.

NXT Women’s Championtitel Match
Asuka (c) vs. Mickie James

Well, this was a pleasant surprise! I've updated this multiple times over the past few weeks to reflect the possible options going from Liv Morgan to Billie Kay, as those two seemed like they were the most likely options, but out of the blue, Mickie James is back. I was always a fan of her, so I'm excited to see she's returning. Hopefully, she'll be back on the main roster or at least working in the Performance Center. She and Victoria are the two former women that I've been wanting to come back to help out this new generation, so starting with a match against Asuka is a step in the right direction. There's no way James wins the belt here, but that's totally fine. This should be a good match. PREDICTIONS: Asuka retains.

NXT Tag Team Championtitel 2-out-of-3 Falls Match
The Revival (c) vs. #DIY

If there wasn't so much shuffling around with the cruiserweight division happening at the moment, I'd be more inclined to believe #DIY would be successful, but with 205 Live being taped after SmackDown, that probably means SmackDown will get the entire division. If that's the case, they'll need as many people as possible to come up to the main roster and Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa are indeed members of that division. They'll move up, which means they can't be the NXT Tag Team Champions, which means they need to lose here. Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson will then enter a feud with TM-61 who will have momentum in their favor after winning the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament. PREDICTIONS: The Revival retain the belts.

Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Finale
TM61 vs. The Authors of Pain

Paul Ellering will be banned from ringside for this and that seals the deal for TM-61 winning even more as far as I'm concerned. I'd rather see The Authors of Pain victorious, but what's the end result? I don't expect #DIY to take the tag titles away from The Revival (more on that below) so TM-61 will win this and be the next in line for a title shot. They already defeated SAnitY, why not beat The Authors of Pain, too? PREDICTIONS: TM-61 takes the tournament.

Tye Dillinger vs. Bobby Roode

Roode needed something to do, and Dillinger is great. After what happened with them in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, that set up a match between the two. Glorious vs. Perfect 10. I'm down. I like both of them so I don't know who to root for, but the smart money is on Roode all the way.

PREDICTIONS: Bobby Roode wins.

1. Intercontinental Championship Match: The Miz defeated Dolph Ziggler (c). Ziggler rolled up Miz in a small package, but Maryse pushed them over behind the referee’s back to reverse the pin and allow The Miz to get the three-count and become a six-time Intercontinental Champion. He will defend the title against Sami Zayn at Survivor Series.

— Backstage, Alexa Bliss pleaded her case to Daniel Bryan that her foot was on the ropes when she lost to Becky Lynch last week. Bryan promised she would get a rematch, but for now, she has to focus on Survivor Series. Team coach Natalya interrupted and tried to give Bliss a pep talk.

2. Kalisto defeated Oney Lorcan. This was the main roster debut for Oney Lorcan, who was identified with NXT graphics, so there hasn’t been a full-time call-up. Kalisto won by pinfall after the Salida Del Sol.

3. Carmella NC Nikki Bella. Charlotte Flair came in through the crowd with a front row ticket to watch the match. Nikki attacked Charlotte and threw her into the ring and the referee threw the match out.

— After the match, the Raw women’s Survivor Series team stormed the ring to beat down Nikki. Carmella reluctantly came to Nikki’s aid, then the Smackdown women’s team ran in to even the odds. The 12 women (Dana Brooke and Natalya were also present) brawled all around ringside and Smackdown got the better of the exchange, standing in the ring and taunting the Raw team.

4. American Alpha, The Usos, The Hype Bros, and Breezango defeated The Spirit Squad, The Headbangers, The Ascension and The Vaudevillains. Rhyno and Heath Slater were at ringside, cheering on the team of Survivor Series-bound wrestlers. American Alpha got the pin for their team with the Grand Amplitude on Thrasher.

— Edge returned with his Cutting Edge segment, and his guests were the members of the Smackdown men’s Survivor Series team. The team members began bickering among themselves until they were interrupted by the Undertaker’s music. Undertaker said he is back, and told team Smackdown to win on Sunday, or they will have a reason to fear The Dead Man.

WWE RAW results 14.11.16

5. Sasha Banks and Charotte Flair defeated Alicia Fox and Nia Jax. Bayley sat in on commentary for this match. Sasha forced Alicia to tap out to the Banks Statement while Charlotte kept Nia at bay. After the match, Bayley went to the ring and raised both women’s arms in victory.

6. Big Cass, Enzo Amore, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows defeated The Shining Stars and the Golden Truth. Golden Truth and the Shining Stars spent much of the match fighting amongst themselves. Gallows pinned Primo after the Magic Killer.

— The general managers and commissioners of Raw and Smackdown met in the ring. Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley faced off with Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan and the two sides traded barbs and smack talk. The men’s Survivor Series team from Raw came to the ring and surrounded Shane and Daniel, so the Smackdown contingent called out their own men’s team.
Both teams faced off and everyone insulted each other until Dean Ambrose finally started the physicality by hitting Chris Jericho with the microphone. The two teams brawled in and out of the ring, and Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns ended up being the last two men standing tall, giving AJ Styles a two-man powerbomb onto the rest of Team Smackdown on the floor.
