WWE King of the Ring 2015

King Of The Ring Semi-Finals - - Sheamus vs. Neville
Sheamus' theme hits and out he comes for our first of two semi-final matches tonight here at the WWE King Of The Ring 2015 live special on the WWE Network. After Sheamus makes his way out, out comes Neville. The bell rings and the bigger Sheamus immediately starts to physically bully Neville around the ring, pushing him into the corners. Neville starts firing away with kicks and quick offense, trying to speed up the pace so he has a better chance, but ultimately, Sheamus slows him down and starts to take over control of the contest.

Sheamus dominates the action for a while, including knocking Neville off the ring apron and onto the announce table and hitting him with White Noise. Then, out of nowhere, Dolph Ziggler makes his way out to distract Sheamus. When Sheamus turns around, Neville knocks Sheamus down with a kick. He goes to the top for his Red Arrow finisher and hits it. 1-2-3.
Winner: Neville

King Of The Ring Semi-Finals - - R-Truth vs. Bad News Barrett
After a bunch of plugs from the announcers and commercials and stuff, the WWE Network returns back live to the King Of The Ring special. R-Truth's music hits and out he comes for this, our second of two semi-final matches. Out next is his opponent for tonight, Bad News Barrett. The bell sounds and here we go. Immediately Barrett takes control with a big boot to the face. He knocks him out to the floor and beats him up a bit outside of the ring before continuing to punish him back inside the ring.

R-Truth gets some hope spots and then a mini-comeback, although it isn't long before Barrett takes over again. Barrett hits Truth with his Bull Hammer Elbow. 1-2-3. We have our second of two finalists now.
Winner: Bad News Barrett

King Of The Ring Finals - - Neville vs. Bad News Barrett
Alright, it's time for the finals of this year's WWE King Of The Ring 2015 tournament. Out first is Neville, followed by Bad News Barrett. The bell sounds and here we go. Straight from jump street, Barrett is in complete control of the smaller Neville. Neville tries to fight back for all of about five seconds, only to have Barrett knock him out to the floor. Barrett brutally attacks Neville on the floor for a bit and then brings the action back inside the ring.

Finally, Neville takes over control of the offense in this match. Just as I say that, Barrett catches Neville coming off the ropes with his Winds Of Change semi-finisher. Neville is finally putting together some legitimate offense now. He gets Barrett down and goes to the top for his Red Arrow finisher, however Barrett is able to get out of the way. When Neville gets up, Barrett blasts him with his Bull Hammer Elbow finisher. 1-2-3. Barrett is this year's King Of The Ring.

5. King Of The Ring Quarterfinal Match: R-Truth defeated Stardust. R-Truth wins with a Lie Detector.

WWE Xtreme Rules 2015 results and thoughts

Pre-show Match: Neville defeated Bad News Barrett. Before the match, Barrett announced that Daniel Bryan was not medically cleared to compete and that he’d be wrestling Neville instead. Neville won by pinfall with the Red Arrow.

-> really good match for a kick off show. Really like Neville since this NXT time. 7/10 poimts

1. Chicago Street Fight: Dean Ambrose defeated Luke Harper. Ambrose and Harper brawled around the building and into the back, where they fought into a car and drove away. They returned later in the show and ended up fighting in a pile of steel chairs. Ambrose won with Dirty Deeds.

-> Liked the break during the match amd the match itself. Both wrestlers stuck to their weird gimmicks. 8 of 10 points.

2. Kiss Me Arse Match: Dolph Ziggler defeated Sheamus. Ziggler defeated Sheamus with a rollup. Per the match stipulation, Sheamus was supposed to kiss Ziggler’s “arse.” Sheamus resisted, hit Ziggler in the balls and Brogue Kicked him. He then rubbed Ziggler’s unconscious face on his buttcheek.

-> Ziggler won, that was a sursprise. The match was way to short. 6/10 And Ziggler teases his farewell from WWE on twitter.

3. Tag Team Championship Match: The New Day defeated Tyson Kidd and Cesaro (c). Xavier Woods got on the apron to cause a distraction, ultimately allowing Kofi Kingston to roll up Cesaro and win the match. Kingston and Big E are the new tag team champions.

-> really good tag match and both team deserve to be on the main ppv. I guess its now New Day vs Lucha Dragons. But Cesaro and Kidd are a pretty solid tag team. 8 of 10 points.

4. Russian Chain Match for the United States Championship: John Cena (c) defeated Rusev. Cena won by hitting an Attitude Adjustment and touching all four corners of the ring.

-> good gimmick match. And everybody know, that Cena will be the winner. So no surprise at all. 6 of 10 points.

5. Divas Championship Match: Nikki Bella (c) defeated Naomi. Nikki won with a Rack Attack after Brie Bella kicked Naomi during a referee distraction.

-> pretty good Divas match for WWE. Naomi is a better wrestler than both Bellas combined. So wrong winner for my taste. 7 of 10 points.

6. Last Man Standing Match: Roman Reigns defeated Big Show. Reigns speared Big Show through the Spanish announce table, then turned over the domestic announce table onto him to keep Show down for a 10 count.

-> WOW - that was a really good ppv match from both wrestler!!! Cool moves, good length and a very good finish. 8 of 10 points.

– Ryback beat up Bo Dallas. -> NOBODY needed that. Please spare the ppv time for something better.

7. Steel Cage Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship with Kane as the gatekeeper and the RKO banned: Seth Rollins (c) defeated Randy Orton. Kane chokeslammed J&J Security and both Rollins and Orton. Orton fought back and hit Kane with an RKO. Rollins then hit an RKO on ORTON before escaping the cage.

-> good match for the mainevent but way under the expectations. Its more about Kane as about anyone else. The finish sucks. 7 of 10 points.

WWE Extreme Rules 2015 predictions

UPDATE: Daniel Bryan vs Badd News Barrett is cancelt and the Tag Titles Match moved to the ppv. Barrett will face Neville during the Kick Off Show.

Here are my predictions for tonights WWE PPV

[WWE World Heavyweight Championship - Steel Cage Match]: Seth Rollins (c) vs. Randy Orton

I had thought this would be a triple threat with Roman Reigns, but it appears as though Reigns is being pushed aside for now. Still, this makes sense as Orton defeated Rollins earlier in the night at WrestleMania, so it isn't out of left field. As far as the gimmick goes, I saw this being a steel cage match from a mile away. The Authority will still interfere, though. With the extra stipulation that the RKO is banned, that will make it easier for Rollins to retain the title. Hopefully, it won't be the end of the match with a DQ.

PREDICTION: Seth Rollins retains after Bray Wyatt interferes. Yup. Wyatt's next feud is Randy Orton.

[WWE United States Championship - Russian Chain Match]: John Cena (c) vs. Rusev

Russian Chain Match? Well, at least this isn't a Last Man Standing match as I was predicting, which would have been a bore. I'll give them some optimism for that. Still, I haven't enjoyed either of the matches between these two and I'm not the biggest strap/chain match fan, so I'm not looking forwrd to this, either.

PREDICTION: Rusev dominates and Cena wins in the end.

[WWE Intercontinental Championship]: Daniel Bryan (c) vs. Bad News Barrett

WWE has already prepped themselves for this match not even happening by saying that it is only going to take place if Bryan is cleared to wrestle. Thus, don't be surprised if this match is either cut entirely or at least cut drastically short.

PREDICTION: Daniel Bryan retains if he wrestles at all. If he doesn't, WWE will just ignore it, but if they are smart, they would have Neville take Bryan's place and make it so if Neville wins, he's the new #1 contender, but still have Barrett win.

[WWE Divas Championship]: Nikki Bella (c) vs. Naomi

Before AJ Lee retired, I was assuming this would be a Fatal 4-Way including Brie, Paige and AJ Lee. Now that that's happened, Naomi's swept in and not only taken AJ Lee's spot, but also Paige's, as she's getting a well-deserved title shot that's over a year later than when it should have taken place, essentially. Naomi's been better than what WWE's been giving her credit for and I'd actually be fine with her winning the title here, but I don't think she will. I'm expecting something to happen here where Naomi wins the match but doesn't win the title or gets screwed in losing.

PREDICTION: Nikki Bella retains.

[Kiss Me Arse Match]: Sheamus vs. Dolph Ziggler

Since when was this an "extreme rules" type of gimmick? Stupid booking.

PREDICTION: Sheamus wins because that's who they want to build up.

[Last Man Standing Match] Roman Reigns vs. Big Show

Well, it just wouldn't be Extreme Rules without a Last Man Standing Match, right? Those matches are usually kind of boring, so I hope these two figure out a way to get around the problem of having to count to 9 about 30 times during it.

PREDICTION: Roman Reigns wins.

[WWE Tag Team Championship - Kickoff Match]: Tyson Kidd and Cesaro (c) vs. The New Day

I was kind of hoping The New Day would get this shot instead of The Lucha Dragons, and having Xavier Woods screw Lucha Dragons the way he did made me laugh, so I'm down. It'll be interesting to see Kidd and Cesaro playing babyface here.

PREDICTION: Kidd and Cesaro retain.

[Chicago Street Fight]: Luke Harper vs. Dean Ambrose

This would have been much more interesting as a Falls Count Anywhere match, but WWE seems to not like those. What they DO like, though, is having 100 names for No Disqualification matches. What's the difference between an Extreme Rules match, a No DQ match, a Street Fight and a Chicago Street Fight? Nothing about any of them except the latter has to take place in Chicago. Then again, what's the difference between a Russian Chain match and a regular chain match? Exactly. At least these two should be good for having some hardcore action to make up for the lack of it on the rest of the card.

PREDICTION: Dean Ambrose win.

MVP confirms that Micah’s the guy, then he says to give him a minute to take his coat off. Kenny King attacks Micah from behind, and MVP tells Drew to get out of the ring because he said it would be one on one, he never said it would be him. King whups on Micah, but Drew decides to cheat first and trips King from the floor. The referee ejects Drew and Eli Drake, and now Micah is all by himself out there against the entire BDC. Richards to the apron and kicks his face off. Richards then rolls Manik back in and delivers head butts. To the corner, counter by Manik and he then rolls into a slick looking arm bar as Richards tries to block. Manik gets the hold, but Richards gets to the ropes for the break. To the apron they go, and Manik uses an arm wringer to slam Richards down onto the apron. Storm talks to the rest of the Revolution backstage as Manik tosses Richards into the ring. Basement dropkick follows, and then Manik goes back to work on the arm. Manik hits a series of suplexes, and then gets the cover for two count.

Manik back to work on the arm, Richards escapes but then Manik gets a hanging arm bar in the ropes. He then springboards in but eats a kick from Richards. Richards up top now, misses the double stomp, rolls through but Manik counters and as he goes for a suplex, Richards with the roll up gets two count. Richards hits creeping death and that is all. After the match Abyss and Khoya attack Richards. Abyss chokeslams him onto the apron and then as he looks to attack again, the Hardys are here to make the save. They post Abyss and then toss Khoya to the steps. Twist of fate to Manik and then they hit a double team version to stand tall.
Winner: Davey Richards

TNA Knockout’s Championship Match - Taryn Terrell (c) vs. Awesome Kong
Terrell says they should give the fans the match that they want and make this a NO DQ match. Kong agrees. Terrell attacks at the bell and Kong tosses her away. She tries again and the same result. Terrell is tossed to the floor and tries to attack Kong as she follows, but gets knocked down and then Kong swings her into the barricade. Kong has kendo sticks and attacks with them. She looks for the powerbomb, but Terrell fights her off and stomps Kong to the steps and stands on her hair. Kong escapes, and back to the ring we go. Kong misses a running splash, which only angers her. Terrell with clotheslines, and then a dropkick and Kong gets sent to the corner, Terrell up top and gets the high cross for two count.

They then triple powerbomb Kong through the table and Terrell covers for the win. Terrell gets the mic and says that everyone thought she couldn’t beat Kong, well she did. Everyone is now on notice, and if you mess with her, you mess with her friends. This is their house, the Dollhouse.

TNA World Heavyweight Championship Match - Kurt Angle (c) vs. Austin Aries

Eric Young comes out of the crowd and attacks Aries, throws him to the outside, and piledrives him on the floor. Eric beats up security when they try to intervene, and then he goes back to Aries and piledrives him on the ring steps. Kurt Angle comes out and pulls Young off of Aries, and Young looks like he’s going to leave, but then he attacks Angle when he turns his back and repeatedly rams his face into the ring steps before curb stomping his face into the steps. Now Eric goes after Angle’s knee and puts him in the figure four, and the champion is bloody and writhing in pain.
Winner: No Contest

WWE Smackdown results 23.4.15 - pre Extreme rulz

Neville & Dolph Ziggler def. Bad News Barrett & Sheamus
Despite Sheamus’ pre-match declaration that bigger is better, the underdogs showed they still have more than enough fight to give in an action-packed tag team showdown.
Ultimately, Neville & Dolph Ziggler would walk out the victors after The Showoff’s Zig Zag, followed by a picture-perfect Red Arrow from the high-flying Neville kept Bad News Barrett down for the three-count.

Naomi def. Natalya
Naomi showed Natalya the Rear View to pick up an impressive victory just three days before she will challenge Nikki Bella at Extreme Rules for the Divas Championship. The No. 1 contender then displayed her new no nonsense attitude by delivering a post-match kick to a fallen Queen of Harts.

Ryback def. Rusev by Disqualification
Rusev may have technically lost his match to Ryback by disqualification, but he sent a big statement to John Cena in the process after taking out The Big Guy with an unforgiving Russian Chain. This very same steel apparatus will be fair game this Sunday at Extreme Rules when The Super Athlete challenges the United States Champion in a Russian Chain Match.

Kofi Kingston def. Cesaro
Have no fear WWE Universe, The New Day is here! Cesaro had his attention turned to a fight that broke out at ringside between Tyson Kidd and Kofi Kingston’s New Day partners, allowing Kingston to hit Trouble in Paradise for the victory.
Can The New Day duplicate this success at Extreme Rules Kickoff when Big E & The Dreadlocked Dynamo challenge Kidd & Cesaro for the WWE Tag Team Championship?

Roman Reigns & Dean Ambrose def. Seth Rollins & Luke Harper
Amid a frenzied tag team battle, Roman Reigns & Dean Ambrose got a surprising assist from WWE’s Director of Operations (although it’s unclear if it was intentional), who got up from his seat at ringside to throw Rollins back into the ring to break the referee’s 10-count.
As a result, the WWE World Heavyweight Champion was met with a Spear from The Big Dog, who picked up the 1-2-3. Did we witness a preview of how Kane will handle his role as “gatekeeper” at this Sundays’ WWE World Heavyweight Championship Steel Cage Match at Extreme Rules?
