Drew McIntyre makes his way to the ring. McIntyre says he’s been trying to find the words to talk about losing his WWE Championship, but there’s no excuses. McIntyre has one promise: he will be WWE Champion again. McIntyre quotes from the movie “Rocky” about getting up when you get knocked down. Why is he in a good mood and sharing inspirational quotes? If you could read his mind, it’s very different.

The Miz’ music hits, and McIntyre says he has messed up. The new Mr. Money in the Bank holder The Miz comes out with John Morrison. McIntyre threatens them both. They put over McIntyre’s impressive run with the title. Miz talks about how this is good for McIntyre that he’s holding the title. When he goes for the title again, he’ll be facing The Miz for the title. Morrison mentions that Miz cashed in Money in the Bank for the first time on Randy Orton in Orlando. The Miz mentions “Angry Miz Girl” was really angry.

Eventually McIntyre hears enough and gives Miz a Glasgow Kiss. Morrison tries to get along with McIntyre, but he’s punched down. McIntyre throws Morrison around the ring. McIntyre goes for a Future Shock DDT on Morrison, but Miz chop blocks McIntyre’s knee. McIntyre’s knee was injured last night at Hell in a Cell. Miz and Morrison escape up the ramp. McIntyre stomps on Morrison’s sunglasses and says he has an idea that he’ll run by management. It’s going to be a bad night for Miz and Morrison.

Keith Lee will face Elias in a Survivor Series Qualifying Match. Matt Riddle will also face Sheamus, while Jeff Hardy will face AJ Styles in qualifying matches.

AJ Styles makes his way to the ring with Jordan Omogbehin. They don’t mention Omogbehin’s name tonight. Styles will face Jeff Hardy, next.

AJ Styles is in the ring with the former security guard for Raw Underground. Styles is confused as to why he has to be in a Survivor Series Qualifying Match. Who does he have to impress? Adam Pearce or the clowns in the back? Not only should he automatically be on Team Raw, he should be the captain because he is the face that runs the place. Maybe they have noticed his associate’s face. His associate doesn’t like to be noticed or looked at or talked to. That is a warning.

Maybe they should just talk about his Qualifying Match against Jeff Hardy or, as he likes to call him, the biggest cheater in WWE history. This past summer, Hardy used an illegal knee brace to win the Intercontinental Championship from him. The joke is on Hardy. If Hardy tries what he did to Elias on him tonight, his associate will make him wish he never put down that bottle.

WWE Official Adam Pearce is walking backstage when WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler stop him. Jax says the men may need qualifying matches, but they don’t. Jax says she’ll be team captain and hands Pearce a list of competitors. Baszler then hands him her own list and Jax isn’t on it. They’re not happy.

“Ladies and gentlemen… Elias.”

Elias is seated in the ring. Elias talks about putting Jeff Hardy behind him after he hit him with a car. Now he’ll beat Keith Lee. Elias puts over “Universal Truth,” which came out today.

WWE Raw kicks off with Randy Orton sitting in a chair backstage. He says he didn’t leave Clash of Champions with the WWE Championship. Instead, he left in an ambulance. He doesn’t remember much but he does remember what happened in his match with Drew McIntyre. He remembers Big Show chokeslaming him. He remembers being ambushed by Christian. He remembers Shawn Michaels kicking him right between the eyes. And he remembers McIntyre kicking him and closing the ambulance door with Ric Flair driving it.

Orton says in those moments, he saw nothing but complete darkness. He felt nothing but excruciating pain. Fast forward 24 hours and McIntyre stood in the middle of the ring with his mentors. He said they laughed, smile and played poker. He says with every action, there’s an opposite reaction. He felt obligated to treat them to an equal and opposite reaction last Monday on Raw in a much needed re-introduction to the legend killer.

Randy says they saw and felt everything he felt when the ambulance doors closed. They each felt the exact same pain that he did. And he put his night vision on to treat himself to a front row seat of every second of their agony. They look to the left, the right but nothing can stop the inevitable. The Big Show tried. He stood up and started swinging both his arms, so he smashed both his hands and he went through the poker table.

After that, he went to Christian who was looking for help. He came from behind him and he whispered “Say hi to Edge for me” and he dropped him there. Shawn was next. Shawn grabbed a chair and he was holding it but he took the chair from him and he kicked his skull in. By this point Ric made it to the door but Orton grabbed him and met his face. Orton says he wishes he could have seen Drew’s face. But that bill has not been paid in full, not until he is once again WWE Champion. Orton says it’s not over until he says it’s over. And Drew still has hell to pay.

Orton says if Drew wants to cement his legacy as WWE Champion, he will have it if he survives Hell in a Cell with him.

Crews tells them not to listen as they leave with Ricochet staying behind.

Seth Rollins is in the ring with Murphy. We see a clip of last week’s Raw where we see Murphy’s messages to Rey Mysterio’s daughter. Back in the ring, Rollins tells him now is not the time or the place, they have a very important match and for Murphy to give him the microphone.

Rollins rips the microphone from Murphy.

Seth asks him if he understands who he is talking to. Seth says he saved him. Messiah, disciple. That’s how the relationship works. He wants him to apologize for what? He went easy on her, he could have very reasily exposed all of the DM’s that they shared. The one where she tells the world her true feelings about her family. About how she feels like Dominik is the chosen one. He could have put that out there but he didn’t. And he wants him to apologize? He tells Murphy to get it through his head, disciple, Messiah.

Braun says if that means someone will get these hands, he’s fine with it.

Seth Rollins is backstage with Murphy. Rollins tells him everything he does is for the greater good. He says he knows that after the last two weeks, Murphy needs to apologize to him. If he wants to continue to be his disciple, he has until 10:00pm to apologize or there will be hell to pay.

KO Show – Kevin Owens

Kevin says usually he’s excited for the show but tonight is a different feel. He feels different and he knows Wyatt. People are right when they say that when the Fiend touches you, you change. Because he feels changed. Friday on SmackDown was the first time experiencing the presence of the Fiend and it’s still with him. He still feels it, the anger, the agony, the dread. And that’s why tonight is different. It’s not about having a nice chat as he throws away the chairs. Kevin says the KO Show is about that as we see a clip from Friday’s SmackDown where The Fiend attacked him.

Owens says the mandible claw, it’s hard to find words how it felt. He’ll never forget the feeling of it all. He couldn’t think or move. Owens says he doesn’t know what it is with these dark, tortured souls. First Aleister Black, Bray Wyatt, maybe next week it’s the Brood or Ministry of Darkness. He wants Bray Wyatt to come down that way they can have a nice little chat.

FireFly Fun House

Wyatt is on the screen in the Fun House. He greets Kevin in French, that’s what friends do and Kevin is his new friend. It’s always nice to have friends, he says friends are great. The Pig asks what will happen if he gets drafted to another brand. Wyatt says friends stick together through thick and thin, no matter the brand. He even wrote a song about it.

Bray says friends are very special. Friends, they warm your heart. Friends, what would we do without them? Friends, till death do us part.

Wyatt asks Kevin to sing along but Kevin says he won’t sing because that is the only thing worse than watching his little Mr. Rogers reboot. They are not friends, they could have been but Wyatt attacked him on Friday. He won’t be able to brainwash him or do what he did to Alexa Bliss. The only thing that matters is for him to get in the ring, that way he doesn’t have to wait until Friday to beat the hell out of him.

Bray says that’s not very nice and he doesn’t like it. And as for Alexa, that’s between her and him. It’s clear that he has no idea what he has gotten himself into but this Friday on SmackDown, he’ll know.

Kevin says he’s going to get Wyatt and as he’s walking up the ramp, Aleister Black attacks him taking him down.

Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley vs. Ricochet and Apollo Crews

The Hurt Business are in the ring. MVP says attention WWE Universe. This is an official announcement from the Hurt Business. He says he needs to clear a bit of confusion from last week. Apollo, Ricochet and Ali did not beat them. On occasion they’ll win a match but they’ll never, ever win the fight.

MVP calls them talented and he offered them a position in the Hurt Business. But last week, that would not have happened without the interference of Retribution.
