WWE Money in the Bank 2014 Results

WWE Money in the Bank 2014 Results:

1. Tag Team Championship Match: The Usos (c) defeated The Wyatt Family. The Usos retained the titles by pinning Erick Rowan with two consecutive Superfly Splashes.
-> really good tag team match and opener as well. The Usos retain for me surprisingly the titles. But good desicion for a longer feud with the Wyatts. 8 of 10 points.

2. Divas Championship Match: Paige (c) defeated Naomi. Paige pinned Naomi with the Ram-Paige cradle DDT to retain the Divas Championship.
-> really good Divas match ( except the fall of from the turnbuckle ). Some pretty good moves from both divas and Naomi is still one of the best wrestling divas in WWE ( with Layla ). 7 of 10 points.

 3. Adam Rose defeated Paul Revere. Damien Sandow was dressed as Paul Revere, because Boston.
-> oh dear - no ppv material and a waste of time. 4 of 10 points.

4. Money in the Bank ladder match for the MITB briefcase: Seth Rollins defeated Dean Ambrose, Rob Van Dam, Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger and Kofi Kingston.
During the match, Dean Ambrose DDT’d Jack Swagger off a ladder and injured his shoulder. Doctors forced him to leave. Ambrose returned triumphantly later in the match to dispatch Seth Rollins and toss him out. Ambrose was about to grab the briefcase when Kane showed up, pulled him off the ladder and tombstoned him. This allowed Rollins to climb the ladder and win the match.
-> BNB was out of action because of that injury by Swagger from SD!. Love the match until Kane gets involved. WWE could spare a lot of time with Kane´s run in after 2 minutes and hand over Rollins the briefcase. Some pretty cool moves. Where was Ziggler in the first 12 minutes? 8 of 10 points and worst booking for the finish so far.

5. Goldust and Stardust defeated Rybaxel. Stardust rolled up Ryback for the three. After the match, Curtis Axel tried to jump Stardust, but the Rhodes brothers were able to fight him off.
-> the match was ok, but no ppv material as well. 5 of 10 points.

6. Rusev defeated Big E. Rusev won by submission with The Accolade. Big E did a little better here than he did in previous efforts.
-> Lana is still better than the whole Rusev gimmick for me. The match became a good heavyweight clash for 6 of 10 points.

7. Layla defeated Summer Rae. Fandango was the special guest referee. Layla won with a kick to the head. After the match, Fandango and Layla made out. Summer Rae cried.
-> this was a SD! match at its best. Layla won and thats the best part of it. 3 of 10 points.

8. Money in the Bank ladder match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship: John Cena defeated Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, Cesaro, Sheamus, Kane, Alberto Del Rio, Bray Wyatt Cena Attitude Adjusted Orton onto Kane, then climbed the ladder to win the match.
-> good mainevent but no surprise at all after the leaked SummerSlam poster with Cena vs Lesnar. Sorry WWE this is LAME booking. All wrestler had some good moments and the match lived for some specatular moves with ladders. Cena won but who else could win it? Reigns, Cesaro and Bray Wyatt not ready for a maineventer. DelRio, Sheamus and Kane are no highlight at the moment. So only Orton is left and he doesnt fit againt Seth Rollins. 8 of 10 points.

WWE Money in the Bank 2014 predictions

Here are my predictions for the 2014 WWE Money in the Bank PPV.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship Money in the Bank Ladder Match: Alberto Del Rio vs. Randy Orton vs. Sheamus vs. Cesaro vs. Bray Wyatt vs. Roman Reigns vs. John Cena vs. Kane

The worst case scenario here is that Alberto Del Rio gets the title, which I'm confident won't happen. My next least favorite outcome would be Sheamus, but I don't think I have to worry about that one, either. Everyone else is kind of up in the air, however, I'd give the edge to Roman Reigns, Cesaro, John Cena and Bray Wyatt. It may end up being a mistake, but I'm hoping they give it to Cesaro or Roman Reigns. Then again, if the plan is still to have Brock Lesnar beat the champion at SummerSlam, I hope it goes to John Cena instead of either of them. That is the rumor at this point, going by the poster that was leaked. Bray Wyatt could make for an interesting champ, but who does he feud with?

PREDICTION: Cena wins.

Tag Team Championship: The Usos (c) vs. The Wyatt Family (Luke Harper & Erick Rowan)

They've been building up to this for weeks, which is good, considering how The Usos have had no matches on pay-per-views since WrestleMania. This may be time for them to drop the title, but that's not necessarily written in stone, either. There's a chance that this is a show-stealer, but I have to imagine that it would still be overlooked when it comes to the Money in the Bank match and The Shield.

PREDICTION: New tag team champions.

Money in the Bank (Briefcase Title Shot) Ladder Match: Seth Rollins vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Jack Swagger vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Rob Van Dam vs. Dean Ambrose vs. Bad News Barrett

The list of people here will make up for one hell of a ladder match and I'm much more excited about this than the world title one. Rollins is a definite favorite, but I think Ziggler has a good chance as well.

PREDICTION: Dolph Ziggler

Divas Championship: Paige (c) vs. Naomi

Either Paige flat out wins or Cameron costs the match for Naomi in some fashion. One way or another, Paige is retaining the title here. I wouldn't be too surprised if we get a triple threat at Battleground between these three.

PREDICTION: Paige wins.

Rusev vs. Big E

Poor Big E is about to get squashed yet again. He's never quite gotten the upper-hand during this feud with Rusev, who has even moved on to other people in the process, leaving Big E in the dust.

PREDICTION: Rusev wins.

Goldust and Stardust vs. RybAxel

RybAxel doesn't stand a chance here and this should theoretically be the end of the feud between these two teams. Since I'm expecting the Wyatt Family to win the titles, I'm also expecting Team Gold Star to become the new #1 contenders for either Battleground or SummerSlam.

PREDICTION: The Dusts win.

Dance Off: Summer Rae vs. Layla (with special guest referee Fandango)

Hopefully, this doesn't take up a whole lot of time. Having Fandango as the special guest ref helps it out a bit, but not enough.

PREDICTION: Summer Rae wins.

Impact Wrestling 26.6.14 results - Monsters Ball

Here are the results and my thoughts about last nights show

1. Taryn Terrell and Gail Kim defeated Angelina Love and Velvet Sky.
-> Taryn looked great in the ring and Gail still in line for a KN title match. Womans wrestling in TNA getting better these days.

2. Sanada defeated Manik, Crazzy Steve and DJ Zema Ion in a Fatal 4 Way.
-> very short match for a X-Division match. Some good moves but nothing spectacular.

-> MVP, Kenny King and Bobby Lashley come out to talk about Lashley winning the World Heavyweight Title last week. They're interrupted by Eric Young and Bobby Roode. MVP fires them but a man representing the TNA Board of Directors comes out and tells MVP he can't fire them because he's been stripped of his Director of Wrestling Operations title.

3. James Storm defeated Mr. Anderson with Last Call.
-> Still not the best booking for both wrestler and the feud could be so much more. But I guess this one is over and JS is heading to face an new opponent.

-> Dixie Carter comes out and brags about being TNA's Director of Wrestling Operations again. The Board of Directors representative comes back out and informs her she isn't the Director. Dixie throws a fit and demands to know who the new Director is but he won't tell her. Bully Ray interrupts and threatens Dixie. He goes to put her through a table and fans chant for it. Rockstar Spud and Ethan Carter III make the save for Dixie.

4. Backstage segment with Tommy Dreamer and Ethan Carter III brawling.
-> next hardcore ppv match in the making.

5. Magnus and Bram defeated Willow and Abyss in a Monster's Ball match.
-> really good mainevent and with the right winner. Magnus and Bram on their way to the Tag Titles. The Willow gimmick is a good one but it needs better booking in the future.

-> Kurt Angle is revealed as the new Director of Wrestling Operations. MVP, Lashley and King come out and surround Angle. Eric Young and Bobby Roode make the save, clearing the ring. Impact ended with Angle, Roode and Young standing tall in the ring.

--> not really a surprise for me. Good World Champion means bad Leader of Wrestling operations. Heel Champ means Babyface Leader of Wrestling Operations. Hopefully not for the next few years in TNA.

WWE Raw 23.6.14 results - Time to say goodbye

WWE Raw results:

- The show began with Stephanie McMahon punishing Vickie Guerrero for last week’s drugged coffee incident by giving her an ultimatum: she can be fired, or she can stay Smackdown general manager if she wins her match (against Stephanie herself) later in the night. Vickie accepted the match.

1. Luke Harper defeated Jimmy Uso. Harper pinned Uso with a discus lariat. After the match, Jey Uso challenged Erick Rowan.

2. Jey Uso defeated Erick Rowan. Uso pinned Rowan with a Superfly Splash. After the match, the two teams brawled with the Wyatts gaining the advantage. They stood tall with the tag team championship belts, building to the tag titles match at Money in the Bank.

- Rusev and Lana did some sight-seeing in Washington, D.C. Spoiler alert: they think Russia is better.

3. Naomi defeated Alicia Fox. Paige sat in on color commentary. So did Cameron, and I know I’m not supposed to editorialize in these things, but good God it was bad. Naomi won with an inverted DDT.

4. Bo Dallas defeated Titus O’Neil. Bo pinned Titus with a Bo-dog. Really didnt get this Boo-Hype. Its just embarrassing.

- Triple H announced the remaining competitors in the Money in the Bank briefcase match: Rob Van Dam, Kofi Kingston, Bad News Barrett, Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger.

5. Seth Rollins defeated Rob Van Dam. Rollins had the match won, but Dean Ambrose ran in and attacked, giving Rollins a DQ victory. After the match, the two men brawled and Rollins fled. Ambrose demanded to be put into the Money in the Bank briefcase match.

6. Intercontinental Championship Match: Bad News Barrett (c) defeated Dolph Ziggler. Barrett won with a Bullhammer elbow. PPV style match. Really good one and worth a feud. Ziggler needs a push. Best worker in WWE today.

- Stephanie McMahon vs. Vickie Guerrero never really happened. Stephanie revealed a kiddie pool filled with what looked like butterscotch pudding and said that whoever went in first would lose the match. Stephanie then brought out Layla, Rosa Mendes and Alicia Fox to toss Vickie into the pool. Vickie fought them off, tossing all three into the pool themselves, but Stephanie attacked her from behind. Vickie went into the pool and was subsequently fired. Stephanie tried to start a “na na na hey hey hey goodbye” chant, but Vickie attacked her and tossed HER into the pool.

Before leaving, Vickie did the Eddie Guerrero shoulder-shimmy on the stage and gave a kiss to the sky. THANK YOU VICKIE for wonderful 9 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

7. Jack Swagger defeated Kofi Kingston. Swagger defeated Kingston by submission with the Patriot Lock. Swagger still underrated, Kofi too. Kofi needs a heelturn.

8. Big E defeated Damien Sandow. Sandow was dressed as Abraham Lincoln. Big E won almost instantly with a Big Ending. After the match, Big E called out Rusev and got ambushed. Rusev put Big E in The Accolade and left him lying.

9. John Cena, Sheamus and Roman Reigns defeated Alberto Del Rio, Bray Wyatt, Cesaro and Randy Orton. Sheamus Brogue Kicked Cesaro to win the match for his team. After the match, Kane showed up and beat everybody up. Triple H added Kane to the championship ladder match. While Kane was celebrating, he got speared by Roman Reigns.

Just a rematch for the mainevent of last weeks smackdown. Hopefully we dont get that every week now because of lame booking.

WWE Smackdown 20.6.14 - Reigns for MainEvent

Here are the results:

Seth Rollins beat Kofi Kingston
-> short match and its all about getting Seth over as heel.

Dolph Ziggler beat Bad News Barrett
-> good match and with Ziggler as winner. What a surprise for me

Adam Rose beat Titus O'Neil twice.
-> lame as usual

Kane beat Dean Ambrose
-> good match, but the focus was more on Ambrose vs Rollins on the outside.

Big E beat Jack Swagger
-> way to short for both wrestlers. Big E wins and Swagger needs a new partner or a new gimmick.

Bo Dallas beat Fandango
-> its a shame what WWE does with Fandangos talent. Ok he got some tv time but that booking is soooo lame. Still no Booliver

Sheamus, Roman Reigns and John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt, Randy Orton, Alberto Del Rio and Cesaro
-> winner: Cesaro is very good in this match even against Cena. Chaos at the end. Superman punch for Bray Wyatt and a Spear for DelRio. Reigns and his team won the match. Good mainevent for SD.

WWE announces a second MITB Ladder match for the next ppv

TNA Slammiversary 2014 results

X Division Championship [Six-Way Ladder Match]: Sanada (c) vs. Eddie Edwards vs. Davey Richards vs. Manik vs. Tigre Uno vs. Crazzy Steve

Couple of spots here and there - nothing too nuts. Steve spins around with the ladder on his shoulders and everyone just runs into him. He also tries to reach the belt but looks ridiculous when Sanada isn't ready to prevent him from doing it, so he's literally just pretending like his fingers aren't ON the damn belt already. The believability factor is gone when that stuff happens. "This is awesome" from the crowd, naturally, despite how it's a standard ladder match. Tigre Uno sets a ladder between the ropes and another ladder, horizontally. That'll be a spot in the future that he's setting up. The Wolves double team Tigre Uno with a power bomb/backstabber combo. Now, it's time for The Wolves to turn on each other and slug it out on top of the ladder. Sanada gives Edwards a vertical suplex to the outside. Manik jumps up and lands on the ladder, then gives Richards a sunset flip power bomb onto the horizontal ladder. After this, Sanada climbs up and wins with no real spectacle.

WINNER: Sanada
Disappointing. Nevertheless, underwhelming, and certainly not "amazing" and worthy of "this is awesome" chants. 6,5 of 10 points.

Bobby Lashley vs. Samoa Joe

Even match to start off. The story of the match seems to be "who can punch the hardest, or at least the most". They're definitely keeping up a pace of both of them being relative equals. Lashley hits a spear and the pinfall.

WINNER: Bobby Lashley via pinfall
Not too bad, all things considered. Way to short for my taste. 6 of 10 points.

Magnus vs. Willow

So Magnus has a vest now and Jeff Hardy is stumbling around dressed like if Sting were also conveniently an emo kid. Abyss comes out to give support to Emo Beetlejuice to balance out Bram. Everything goes as expected so far. Willow hits a second rope splash for a two-count. He then misses a Swanton Bomb. Bram gets involved and Abyss counteracts. Hardy tosses himself backward from the top rope into the pile of others on the outside. Abyss and Bram now fight in the ring, cause you know, that's legal. Willow hits a Twist of Fate twice (the first one was more of a stunner), but only gets a two-count. Bram takes a steel bar from the turnbuckle and Abyss pulls out Janice to fight back. Magnus prevents a Whisper in the Wind. Magnus hits a uranage and wins.

WINNER: Magnus via pinfall
Like this one. 8 of 10 points

Kenny King vs. Austin Aries

Speaking of guys that I like, here are two of them. They keep things at a good pace. Lots of suicide dives on this event, which is getting tiresome. The highlight of the match I'd say is the Brainbuster off the ropes for the victory.

WINNER: Austin Aries via pinfall
Probably the best match so far. 8 of 10 points.

The Von Erichs (Ross & Marshall with Kevin) vs. BroMans (DJZ & Jessie)

The Von Erichs seem like steady hands that know what they're doing. They may be a little bland, but they're not bad. Jessie attempts to bring a chair into play twice, and eventually gets a chance to use it on I believe Marshall (the barefoot one - I apologize if I've mixed them up). This causes a disqualification. Kevin Von Erich steps in after the match to take down both DJZ and Jessie (putting the Iron Claw on DJZ).

WINNERS: The Von Erichs via disqualification
Decent filler for a debut. Dont like at all. 4 of 10 points.

Knockouts Championship: Angelina Love (c) vs. Gail Kim

The first thing of note is an odd bulldog-type move that made it seem like Gail landed a bit awkwardly. Then, Velvet Sky blinds Gail with hairspray (I thought DJZ was just out?). The ref doesn't care. Love hits the Botox Injection and Gail kicks out. Earl Hebner comes out to toss Velvet out of the ringside area and replace the current ref. Gail gets back in the swing of things. Love gets caught trying to use the ropes for leverage. Gail Kim accidentally dropkicks Hebner and Love goes for a rollup, but no referee is able to count. Gail hits her finisher, but again, Hebner is out, so there's no pinfall. Gail then goes for another pin and Stifler comes back in, but not before Love reverses into a pinfall of her own for the victory.

WINNER: Angelina Love via pinfall
Gail Kim at her best!!!! Best KO match for years. 9 of 10 points.

Texas Death Match: Ethan Carter III vs. Bully Ray

Bully Ray uses the rope/cowbell to toss Carter around the ring and choke him. He exposes the concrete and brings out the tables. Good lord, please don't start chanting that for 20 more minutes. A table is set up in the ring on the turnbuckle. Carter brings out a chair and nails Bully Ray a few times. He goes to hit him again and Ray kicks him in the face/chair. Bully Ray brings out a cheese grater and uses it on EC3's chest (by which I mean, doesn't do anything but hold it there and not move it at all). Bully Ray unveils the boards from the ring and asks the crowd whether he should go through the table or the boards. Boards win. Rockstar Spud interferes with a kendo stick, but gets nowhere and ends up being destroyed by Bully Ray for his efforts. EC3 capitalizes and drops Bully Ray on the boards, but he still gets up before the 10-count. EC3 then dumps out shards of glass into the ring. EC3 jumps off the top rope, but Bully Ray gives him the Bubba Cutter on the glass (by which I mean next to it and not actually on it). EC3 goes outside the ring and gets up before the 10-count. He is then nailed in the head with a kendo stick. Ray places Carter on 2 tables set up on the outside and prepares to climb the ropes and jump on him. Dixie Carter comes out to tell Bully Ray not to do it. He yells "I'm gonna kill you, bitch" and goes after her. There's an awful, stupid, ridiculous excuse of an "injury" with Dixie walking toward Carter and then falling and them trying to say she collided heads with him and is totally knocked out. You've got to be fucking kidding me with that. Bully Ray then puts Dixie on the tables instead. Ethan gets back into the ring with a kendo stick and hits Ray, who falls forward into the tables right as Spud removes Dixie.

WINNER: Ethan Carter III through overbooking
This was entertaining until that horrendous excuse of an ending. 8,5 of 10 points.

James Storm vs. Mr. Anderson

You're not missing anything until the only talking point happens, when the Dallas Cowboys interfere and eventually celebrate with Anderson when he wins with a Mic Check.

WINNER: Mr. Anderson via pinfall
Waste of time and talent, basically. 5 of 10 points.

TNA World Heavyweight Championship [Steel Cage Match]: Eric Young (c) vs. Bobby Lashley vs. Austin Aries

Lashley's got the power game, Aries has the technical skills and Young has....the championship, which is most important. Then again, there's a spot where Young holds both men up on his shoulders, so I guess he's got some power game as well. I'm not sure how this makes any sense (and thankfully, Taz agrees), but Lashley picks Young up in a vertical suplex and places him at the top of the cage so he can start climbing and escaping. Aries hits a hurricanrana from the top rope on Lashley. Nice. From the top of the cage, Young gives Lashley an elbow drop. Aries breaks up the pin and hits a Brainbuster on Young, who kicks out. Lashley spears Aries, but Young breaks it up. Lashley goes for a spear, but Young evades and Lashley ends up going through the door. I guess you can't win this match by escape? Young hits an elbow drop on Aries, who kicks out. Aries dropkicks Young after a reversal. After exchanging blows, Aries hits the discus and follows it up with a dropkick in the corner. He goes for another Brainbuster, but Young turns it into a piledriver for the win.

WINNER: Eric Young via pinfall
good mainevent but too short with just 14 minutes. 8,5 of 10 points.
