WWE Smackdown results 9.6.16

Enzo Amore and Big Cass vs. The Club (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson)
Enzo and Anderson start off, locking up before Anderson brings Enzo down with a shoulder tackle. Anderson lays into Enzo with some stomps in the corner, but Enzo turns things around with a headscissors takedown! Gallows with a blind tag, running in with a big boot to Enzo before hitting a couple elbow drops for a nearfall. Gallows continues the attack in the corner with some mudhole stomping and a backbreaker for another nearfall. Anderson gets involved with a double team on Enzo before Gallows lays into him with some right hands, keeping Enzo far away from Cass in the process. Tag to Anderson leads to a sleeper hold as Enzo gets to a vertical base…only for Anderson to drop him with a body slam! Anderson sets Enzo up in the tree of woe, landing a dropkick right into the midsection of Enzo! Enzo rolls out of the ring, climbing up on the apron to hang Anderson up. Gallows goes for a big boot on the outside to no avail, but Anderson stops Enzo from getting the tag to Cass as the Vaudevillains come out to the stage while we go to commercial.

Back from commercial, Gallows is on top of Enzo with a sleeper hold as we see Vaudevillains still on the stage. Enzo gets out of the grip of Gallows, fighting back before being shoved down and sent to the corner by Gallows. Enzo eventually catches Gallows with a DDT before getting the hot tag to Cass as Anderson tags in. Cass is on fire now as he lays into Anderson, ending with a big boot to the face of Anderson and the Empire Elbow…but Gallows stops the pin! Cass sends Gallows out of the ring, but Anderson dumps Cass out of the ring as the Vaudevillains make their way down to the ring. New Day leave the announce table to confront them, and it all breaks down into chaos coming into the ring, as the ref calls for the bell!

Cesaro and Sami Zayn vs. Alberto Del Rio and Kevin Owens
Zayn and Owens start things off with an impressive exchange that leads to a series of arm drags sending Owens to the corner, as ADR blind tags in and gets some hits on Zayn while mocking Owens. Zayn with an arm drag before tagging in Cesaro, who brings ADR into the corner before ADR catches him with a kick to the chest. Mounted punches in the corner by ADR, before Cesaro gets out and lays in some of his own. ADR gets him in an arm wrench and looks for a tag by Owens, who drops down and takes a hike up the ramp. Zayn begins chasing after Owens, leaving Cesaro alone with ADR who turns things around with a DDT but misses a kick to Cesaro, who hits a cannonball off the apron before playing to the crowd as we go to commercial.

Back from commercial, ADR hits a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker on Cesaro before hitting the backstabber for a nearfall. ADR is still in control as he climbs to the top rope, hitting a right hand for another nearfall. ADR locks in a sleeper hold, but Cesaro gets up pretty quick before ADR looks to hit a suplex…only for Cesaro to reverse with a stalling suplex! Zayn and Owens return to the ring, brawling before Zayn sends Owens back into the ring. ADR and Owens begin arguing in the ring, before ADR leaves the ring. Owens follows him, continuing the argument before Zayn takes a dive over the ref onto both of them! ADR dodges enough to send Zayn into the barricade before Cesaro catches him with a suplex onto the floor! Back in the ring is ADR as Cesaro hits a crossbody for a nearfall. ADR drives a boot right into the arm of Cesaro, looking for the cross arm breaker…but Cesaro gets him ready for a swing before Owens stops it. Zayn stops Owens, takes a kick from ADR, and Cesaro hits a pop-up European uppercut on ADR! Cesaro follows suit by taking ADR to an Uppercut Party! Zayn going for a tag before getting dropped off the apron, and Cesaro sends ADR for a small swing before locking in the Sharpshooter. Owens stops it before being taken out of the ring by Cesaro, who sets ADR up on the turnbuckle and hits a dropkick. Cesaro goes up top, but Owens drops him into a tree of woe and yells at ADR to hit his double foot stomp. ADR does so, but Owens blind tags in and drags ADR out of the ring before taking the pin for himself!
Winners via pinfall: Alberto Del Rio and Kevin Owens

Becky Lynch vs. Dana Brooke
They lock up, but Dana quickly gets to the ropes. Becky hits a leg whip followed by a couple arm drags before Dana goes outside to take a breather. Dana gets back in the ring, pulling Becky by the hair but Becky sends her into the corner. Dana distracts the ref, allowing Charlotte to get a shot in on her before Dana hits a handstand elbow drop for a nearfall. The crowd is chanting for Becky as she hits a rollup on Dana for a nearfall. Becky is turning things around with some clotheslines on Dana before hitting a forearm in the corner. Charlotte distracts Becky just long enough for Dana to hit her on the ropes. Chaos ensues on the outside, until Charlotte and Natalya are both ejected. Dana goes for a suplex, but is reversed into a Disarm-Her and Dana has no choice but to tap out!

Kalisto vs. Baron Corbin
Baron goes to work on Kalisto early using his power, but Kalisto turns things around with an enziguri on the apron. Kalisto gets caught with a right hand by Baron, who throws the former US Champion onto the barricade. Baron continues the assault before confronting Ziggler, staring him down as he continues beating up Kalisto. Back in the ring are Baron and Kalisto, Baron still looking over at Ziggler as he locks in an armbar of sorts wrenching Kalisto’s shoulder. Kalisto gets out with a jawjack, rolling through with a kick to the head and a corkscrew before hitting a spiked rana for a nearfall. Kalisto goes for Salida Del Sol, only to take a kick to the back of the head and an End of Days to give Baron another win!

Dean Ambrose vs. Chris Jericho
Both men circle around before locking up, and Ambrose takes him to the corner. Jericho gets out and slaps Ambrose, which infuriates the Lunatic Fringe! Ambrose lays into Jericho with a barrage of offense now, finishing with an elbow drop and a boot to the sternum. Jericho in the corner now, but turns things around with an elbow from behind. Jericho yells at Ambrose about the thumbtacks from Extreme Rules, but Ambrose responds with a lariat before sending Y2J out of the ring! Ambrose follows with a big dive onto Jericho, before tearing the announce table apart. Ambrose comes back into the ring to stop the count, but goes right back out with bad intentions for Jericho.J Jericho gets out, and hits a monkey flip that sends Ambrose nearly into the barricade as we go to commercial.

Back from commercial, Jericho is still in control taking Ambrose into the corner. Ambrose turns things with some chops, but Jericho hits a dropkick for a nearfall. Jericho with a sleeper hold on Ambrose, who is struggling to get to a vertical base. he does, rolling Jericho up for a nearfall. Jericho responds in kind with a clothesline, stomping at Ambrose before driving him into the ropes. Jericho gets caught with a clothesline by Ambrose, who gets a second wind as he goes to work on Jericho. Running bulldog is blocked by Jericho, who takes a right hand right to the face. Dirty Deeds blocked, and Jericho goes for the Walls of Jericho…but Ambrose rolls him up for a nearfall, before hitting another right hand for a nearfall. Ambrose climbs up top, but Jericho dodges him and hits an enziguri off the turnbuckle for a nearfall. Jericho sets him up top, but gets taken down as Ambrose hits a La Magistral cradle for a nearfall. Ambrose goes for a forearm but is blocked, bringing both men down. Jericho gets up first, and a series of finisher reversals ensues before Jericho hits the Codebreaker for the win!
