WWE RAW 25.8.14 results and review - Mindgames
WWE Raw results:
The show began with Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair discussing what they think will happen at Night Of Champions when John Cena gets his rematch against Brock Lesnar. Cena interrupted and said that he’d beat Brock Lesnar’s ass.
1. Rusev defeated Jack Swagger. Rusev won via ref stoppage after damaging Jack Swagger’s ribs. After the match, Bo Dallas once again showed up to insult Swagger.
* really - Bo Dallas vs Jack Swagger. Still not a BO-liever
2. Cesaro defeated Rob Van Dam. Sheamus was on color commentary. Cesaro won with the Neutralizer. After the match, Cesaro looked at the United States Championship and threw it in Sheamus’s face.
* finally Cesaro getting more TV time and a real storyline
3. Paige defeated Natalya. Paige won with a Paige Turner. After the match, AJ Lee showed up. Natalya decked Paige, but AJ helped Paige up and hugged her. Paige was uncomfortable.
* really like the 3 divas feud. Great physic and chemistry between them
Seth Rollins held a “eulogy” for Dean Ambrose. This drew out Roman Reigns, who brawled with Rollins and Kane. Roman vs. Rollins and Kane in a handicap was made for later in the night.
4. Goldust and Stardust defeated The Usos. Goldust and Stardust won via count-out. After the match, the Dusts demanded a rematch and violently attacked The Usos.
* like the heelturn of the Dusts. But the Usos still the better tag team
5. Dolph Ziggler defeated Damien Sandow. This was supposed to be Ziggler vs. The Miz, but Miz made Ziggler wrestle his “stunt double.” This was, of course, Damien Sandow AS The Miz. Ziggler won with a Zig Zag.
* Ziggler still one of the best performers these days in WWE.
- The Bella Twins argued. Nikki insulted and attacked Brie, and Brie cried a bunch.
6. Roman Reigns defeated Seth Rollins and Kane. Reigns won by DQ when Rollins hit him with the Money in the Bank briefcase. After the match, Rollins and Kane tried to take out Reigns like they did Ambrose, but Reigns was able to fight back and fight them off.
* Reigns vs Kane for the next ppv? Reigns vs Rollins looks like unbelievable for me. So WWE need an opponent for Rollins till Ambrose returns at the end of september.
7. Los Matadores defeated Heath Slater and Titus O’Neil. Slator Gator lost when Slater was caught in a crucifix pin.
* Really like Slator/Gator but they still need more tv time and wins of course.
8. Bo Dallas defeated Kofi Kingston. Bo won with a Bo-Dog. After the match he once AGAIN insulted Jack Swagger. Swagger showed up and slammed him.
* why WWE why? Bo Dallas belongs to NXT.
9. John Cena defeated Bray Wyatt. Cena won by DQ when the Wyatt Family attacked. Big Show and Mark Henry made the save, and the match became a six-man tag.
* Bray Wyatt doesnt deserve that beating. Next time put Bo Dallas against Cena.
10. John Cena, Big Show and Mark Henry defeated The Wyatt Family. Cena made Luke Harper submit to the STF. After the match, Cena hit all three of his opponents with Attitude Adjustments.
* like the Biggest tag team in the mainevent.
