TNA Lockdown 2014

Here are my thoughts about the latest TNA ppv Lockdown

1. Team TNA ( Bad Influence and Chris Sabin ) versus Team Wrestle One ( Great Muta, Sanada and Yasu )

No idea where this storyline got startet but I had no interest in it at all. The Great Muta is nearly 60 years old and way to slow to perform a good match. Sanada and Yasu showed some great moves and won the match at the end. Some really nice triple moves. 8 of 10 points.

2. Sam Shaw vs Mr. Anderson

Really good storyline over the last few weeks but the match in the cage was crap. Both men could do a lot more with the match time. The finish was ok ( winner: Creepy bastard ) and the story will go on. 4 out of 10 points.

3. EC3 Promo and Open Challenge

Bobby Lashley returned to TNA and destroyes EC3

4. Manik vs Tigre Uno

Again no storyline for this match as I know. But a really good match with some awesome high risk moves. Tigre Uno won the highlight of the ppv. 9 out of 10 points.

5. Last Men Standing match - James Storm vs Gunner

Thats a well build storyline and great booking. Thanks for that. The match startet with an outside brawl, a long phase of cable chocking and a huge top rope superplex from Gunner on Storm thru some chairs. Gunner won the match for 9 of 10 points too.

6. Knockout Title Match - Madison Rayne (c) vs Gail Kim

Hard brawl with some really good moves. Best Knockout match in months. Madison retain her title with a top rope spear.v8 out of 10 points.

7. TNA World Title - Magnus (c) vs Samoa Joe

I waited a long time for this match and was so disappointet at the end. The the f*** at the end with Abyss interfered from under the ring. Thats an old Undertaker story. Sorry but this was really crap for a World Title Match - 6 out of 10 points.

8. Lethal Lockdown Match

Team Dixie ( Austin Aries, Robbie E, Jessi, Bobby Roode ) vs Team MVP ( MVP, Wolves, Willow aka Jeff Hardy )

Great finish for this TNA PPV. Bully got involved in the match as a special ref by Dixie and he puts a table in the ring. Some great moves inside the cage as well - brainbuster on a chair and a 450 splash on a trash can - AWESOME. At the end Bully attacked Roode and helped MVP to win the match. 8 of 10 points.

Some of the matches needs better booking. I like the Willow character so fare and the return of Bobby Lashley.

WWE Elimination Chamber 2014

After the disapointing Royal Rumble today its time for the WWE to make a change in the PPV business. They need to do whats best for business with good stories, better matches and booking out of this world. The fans need something fresh - something to think about. Surprise the fans... Shooking moments and not winners, everybody already knows before the matches even startet...

In the PRESHOW Cody Rhodes and Golddust defeaded Ryback and Curtis Axel in a solid tag team match. 5 of 10 points.

IC Title Match Big E Langston (c) vs Jack Swagger

First match of the PPV has a short storyline but two good wrestler to make an impact in the opener. Big E. dominates the match from the start with some power moves and a shoulder block on Swagger into the steel post. With some help of Colter Swagger gets better into the match by attacking the shoulder of Big E over and over again. Swagger bleeding from this mouth and hammering Big E with a spinebuster to the mat. Big E going to the top but Swagger hits a Belly to Belly slam. Patriot lock on Big E for 2 times and Big E hits a kick while he is still in the lock. Big Ending after that and the match is over. Good opener with 7 of 10 points.

Bad News Barrett with some Olympic news #BNB and the HULKSTER is back with WWE and returning on RAW...

Tag Team Titles NEW AGE OUTLAWS (c) vs The USOS

Finally The Usos got a shoot at the Outlaws... And if the USOS not winning the titles - I got 2 word for that - THAT SUCK´S!!!! Usos startinf fast into the match and the Outlaws are so much oldschool to handle that. Road Dogg hipstosses Jimmy into the turnbuckle - nasty hit at all. The crowd is chanting for CM PUNK while Road Dogg is still hurting Jimmy. Tag on both sides and JAY is back on track. Flying bodies all over the place and the Outlaws still play dirty. Billy kicks out of the superkick... Superkick for Road Dogg as well but a roll up pin for Billy. Still champs - New Age Outlaws. Match was ok but not a good as tag machtes before. 5,5 of 10 points.

Again some lame Bad News Barrett news #BNB.

Darren Young vs Titus O´Neil 

Is a shame that they broke up a really good tag team. But good news that the match ended up at a ppv. Both men deserved that. Titus hits some power moves and Darren try to escape with speed and technique. Neck breaker on the apron really hurts Titus but still in the mood to show the CLASH of the TITUS powerbomb. Solid match for 5 of 10 points.

Again some lame Bad News Barrett news #BNB. I just copy it for the rest of the show. Still lame and meaningless.

THE S.H.I.E.L.D. vs The WYATT Family

FINALLY the match we all been waiting for. 3 on 3 and I think it will be great. For me the Wyatts will win because of the push of Bray Wyatt vs Cena at Wrestlemania.

THIS IS AWESOME even before the match startet. The match starts with a 6 men brawl all over the place. The crowd goes with both teams. The power and height of the Wyatts dominating the first minutes of the match until Roman Reigns enters the squared circle. Bray Wyatt vs Roman Reigns - THIS IS AWESOME. The SHIELD are dominating Harper until Harper dropkicks Ambrose into the next week and make a tag.

Both teams are had their time in the match and the Wyatts using their power to keep the SHIELD under control. Only Roman reigns is able to attack the whole Wyatt family and stay in control. Luke Harper flying thru the ropes into Ambrose. Up next - the spanish table - Ambrose and Bray battleing in the audiance. Harper and Rollins at the table and Reigns versus Roans in the ring.

Double Chokeslam from the Wyatts on Rollins thru the table. 1 SHIELD member left in the ring and all 3 Wyatts attacking Reigns. Reigns conters Sister Abigale and Superman punches for the Wyatts, Spear for Harper but the SISTER ABIGALE for Reigns and the WAR is over for now. What a brawl - 9 of 10 points.


DIVAS Title Match AJ Lee (c) vs Cameron

Cameron replacing the injured Naomi who needs an eye surgery. Good start for Cameron with some clothlines and dropkicks. And again the CM PUNK chants as AJ is the girlfriend of CM Punk in real life. Tamina kicked AJ accidentally and interfered in the cover. So Cameron wins by DQ. Way to short match and just a stopgap on the way to Wrestlemania. 3 of 10 points.

Again some lame Bad News Barrett news #BNB. I just copy it for the rest of the show. Still lame and meaningless.

Batista vs Alberto Del Rio

Del Rio on crutches in the ring - hopefully the match will be cancelt. Never liked Batista and the hype for his return. Del Rio attacks Batista with the crutch but Batista will win this match because he is the No 1 contender for WrestleMania. So boring.... The fans chearing for Del Rio and agains Buuuuhtista. Cross arm breaker on the ropes on Batista. CM Punk, Boring, Y2J, We want Lesnar and RVD chants for a better mood in the audiance because the match is boring as hell. Batista bomb and thank good that is over. 2 of 10 points for Del Rio and the chants.

CHAMBER MATCH - Cena vs Cesaro vs Sheamus vs Orton (c) vs Christian vs Bryan 

Finally its time for the CHAMBER - my pick is that Orton keeps the title. Cena will be attacked by the Wyatts and maybe Lesnar will find his way into the Chamber.  Cena, Christian, Bryan and Orton going to the pots and Cesaro and Sheamus starting the match. Cesaro dominates the match and Sheamus in the beginning. Bryan is next and hits a double dropkick on Sheamus and Cesaro. The YES Movement is all over the building.

Cesaro hammering Bryan thru the pot and still got plenty of uppercuts for Sheamus. The next entry is.... Christian, who is on his way to a heel. Attacking Bryans shoulder over and over again. Head first into the steel for Sheamus and powerbomb into the pot for Christian by Cesaro. Cena is next and ready for a fight. Bryan versus Cena but Christian hits the killswitch on Bryan for a 2 count.

White noise for Cena, DDT for Cesaro and head first into the champer for Christian - action all over the chamber. Time for Orton to enter the battle. BORING chants for Orton. Everybody is going for Orton but he locked himself into his pot. PUSSY chants for Orton. Bro Kick from Sheamus thru the pot and Orton is back in action. CESARO SWING for ORTON - I´m loving it!!!!

Bro Kick for Cena but still a 2 count. Christian, Sheamus and Orton on a pot and Sheamus get supersplashed and pinned by Christian. Running knee for Christian and he is out by Daniel Bryan. Cena versus Bryan up next - AA for Cesaro on the steel and the STF and CESARO is out. STF on Orton and here comes the Wyatt family is in the Chamber. They are beating Cena to the mat and Orton covers Cena.

So its Orton versus Daniel Bryan. Kane is in the ring too and Bryan attacks Kane. Tope rope side suplex on Orton but just a 2 count. Kane is on the ref to break the count. RKO on Bryan but thank god only a 2 count. Cheap shot by Kane and another RKO and Orton wins the Chamber match. 9 of 10 points.

Beside the Chamber match and the SHIELD vs Wyatts battle the ppv was not as good as a WWE ppv could be. They got a lot of potential but still lame booking.

So its Bryan vs Kane, Orton vs Batista and Cena vs Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania.

WWE TLC 2013

Finally I had the time to watch the last WWE ppv of the year 2013.

The show starts with a promo from Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.

1. CM Punk vs The S.H.I.E.L.D.

Really - CM Punk is the Opener of the ppv. The match starts slowly with Punk against Seth Rollins. Reigns dominates Punk the whole time he is in the ring. While he is trying to spear Punk into the commentator table, Punk throws him over the table into the commentators. Looks like Reigns injured one eye and Punk is attacking the eye over and over again.

Punk gets Seth Rollins in the Anaconda Wise but Ambrose breaks the hold. Punk flys from the top rope with the elbow on Ambrose - but just a 2 count. Reigns back in the ring but he hits a SPEAR on Ambrose and Punk gets the victory. Way to short for a Punk match and a ppv opener. Just 6 out of 10 points.

2. DIVAs Title Match - AJ Lee (c) vs Natalia 

Naty starts with some nice moves to get AJ to the mat. With the help of Tamina AJ starts a comeback and the match is now even. Natalia uses some powermoves to keep AJ down. Sharpshooter in the middle of the ring but AJ roll thru and takes Naty into the widows peak. But Naty starts an acounter too and try to take AJ again into the sharpshooter. This time AJ roll her up and gets the victory. So still DIVAs champ - AJ LEE. Very good womans match - 7,5 out of 10 points.

3. IC Title Match - BIG E. Langston (c) vs Damien Sandow

Pure power of Big E. againt the speed and arrogance of Damien Sandow. After loseing his briefcase Damien is more agressive than ever before. He is attacking the legs of Big E. to get him to the mat. For every power moves Big E. hits - Damien got a quick counter move. That makes Big E. so angry that he hits quickly a power clothsline and the Big Ending. Still IC champ - BIG E. Langston. Very good match from Sandow, how is in his way to the mainevent. A little bit to short for a title match - 5,5 out of 10 points.

4. Tag Titles Fatal 4 Way Match - Real Americans vs Rey Mysterio jr and Big Show vs Team Rhodes (c) vs Ryback and Curtis Axel

Where are the Usos and the Prime Time Players? Much better Tag Teams like Rey and Big Show as well as Ryback and Axel. Still cant stand Ryback - hopefully Goldberg shows up at WrestleMania and destroy him. Everybody against Ryback and finally Goldust rolled up him and his team is out of the pic.

The Real Americans dominates Goldust in their corner and a lot of fans are with them. And YES here is the CESARO SWING on Goldust - love that move over and over again. Goldust try to make the tag but Cody was attacked by Swagger on the outside until Big Show throws Swagger into the barrier. Big Show is in the ring and knocks out both members of the Real Americans. So its Team Rhodes vs Team Rey Show.

Big Show and Rey are dominating the match at all. 619 for Goldust and a powerbomb for Cody from Rey too. Counter over counter and finally the Cross Rhodes on Rey - and still TAG TEAM CHAMPS Team Rhodes. Very good tag team match ( could be a little better with the Usos or Prime Time Players ) - 8,5 out of 10 points.

5. Brutus Clay vs R-Truth

Like the new and bad Brutus Clay. He is more agressive than ever and that a good thing. He dominates the match with power moves until Tensai gots in his way and R-Truth wins with a roll up. I think that finally the heel turn for Brutus and the break up of the Tons of Funk. 4 out of 10 points.

6. Kofi Kingston vs The Miz

Thats a good and ongoing rivalry with some great booking so far. His is a No DQ match. Miz is very agressive thru the match. Kofi try to place the Trouble in paradise but just hit the steel post on the outside. The fans calling for tables but just get a Miz how hits face first the steel rope in the corner. Kofi wins a non suitable ppv match - 5 out of 10 points.

7. Daniel Bryan vs The Wyatt Family

3 on 1 again after the CM Punk vs SHIELD match. YES YES YES all over the arena. Rowen and Harper dominating Bryan with a lot of power and submisson moves. After Daniel is already down, Bray Wyatt tags in and attacks Bryan with a huge running splash into the corner. The audiance cheers WHAT WAS CREEPY for the up side down walk of Bray...

Bray offering Bryan a spot in his team but Daniel refused. Flying goat on Harper and a lot of kicks for Rowen who is hanging in the ropes. Harper flys into the table, Rowen on the steps and Bray just escapes the YES lock. Finisher for Daniel Bryan and The WYATTs wins the match. 7,5 of 10 points.

8. TLC - Champion vs Champion - Randy Orton vs John Cena

Tables, Ladders and Chairs - all legal and so welcome. I´m not a fan of both wrestlers but hopefully Orton will win this match and become new champ with both titles. Before flying thru a table, Cena is crashing into the steel steps while Orton is already up the ladder to grab the titles.

Cena now using the ladder to get back into the match ant hits Orton hard in the belly. Cena shows his 3 wrestling moves he knows and hits Orton with the ladder in the face and falls backwards into the table on the outside. Cena on the ladder - Orton back in the ring and hits the RKO.

Cena gets agressive using the steps to hit Orton hard in the face again who gets back with the spanish announce table. But Cena conters and hits the AA on Orton thru the table. Cena hanging on the titles and Orton gets him down with a chair shoot. Moments later Cena spears Orton thru a table in the corner.

Orton handcuffs Cena to the ropes and throw the keys into the audiance. Orton brings a huge ladder to the ring and try to get to the belts. Cena untie the lowest ring rope and gets to Orton just in time. Orton throws Cena into a table and gets both belts on top of the ladder. Surprise winner for me and a very good main event. 8,5 of 10 points.

After the match Vince, Steph and Triple H coming to the ring to congrats Randy Orton for his victory.

WWE Survivor Series 2013

Last major WWE ppv of the year is the SURVIVOR SERIES.

In the kick off show we saw Kofi Kingston again newyl heel character The Miz. Good match to get the Miz back into the game. He won a fast and technique good match. 6 of 10 points.

The ppv starts with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon and a traditional 5 on 5 match.

1. Rey Mysterio jr, The Usos, Team Rhodes vs Real Americans and The Shield

The match starts with Dean Ambrose against Cody Rhodes. Just after 1.30 minutes Deam Amborse got disqualified after arguing with the ref and a roll up by Cody. The Usos cleaned the house and bodies flying everythere. Goldust against Cesaro and Swagger up next and the Real Americans taking over the match. Roll up power bomb from Goldust and a high foot for Swagger and Rey is in. 619 follow up by a super kick and tope rope splash by the Usos and Swagger is out.

Giant swing form Ceasoar on Jay Uso and for Jimmy Uso too. Cody taking over and eleminated Cesaro with a roll up pin. 5 on 2 now. The Shield vs The Usos for the next few minutes and Shield a dominating the match with some power moves by Roman Reigns. Big Spear and Jimmy Uso is out. 4 on 2. Spear for Cody Rhodes too and he is done. Jay Usos now against Roman Reigns on the outside. Back in the Ring Seth Rollings get the pin on Jay after a front face buster. 2 on 2 now.

The Shield destroying Rey Mysterio until Reigns hit the ring post. Somehow Rey can pin Seth Rollings and Reigns is all alone now again Rey and Goldust. Rey hitting some quick moves to get tag for Goldust. Near fall after near fall and Reigns hit a SPEAR on Goldust and Rey to win the match.

Big future for Roman Reigns in the days to come. Great opener with 23 minutes match time for 8,5 of 10 points.

2. IC Title Match - Big E. Langston (c) vs Curtis Axel

Hugh win for Big E. last week to become the new IC champion. He deserved it. Axel is good but far away from being perfect. So no chance for him in this match in my opinion. Big E. pushing the match with power moves and Curtis gets back into the match with some dirty moves. After a big splash Axel counters with the perfect plex for a 2 count. Big E. Langston just hit the BIG ENDING and is still the IC champ after just 6 minutes match time. Way to short but Axel is out of the title pictures. 5 of 10 points.

3. 7 on 7 DIVAS match

Its the TOTAL Divas Cast against the Divas who are not on the Show. Alicia Fox starts agressive against Naomi who hits a RVD like moonsault to get the 1. pin on Fox. Rosa Mendes pins Cameron. Nicci pins Rosa Mendes after a face buster. Little dance off and Summer Ray gets the facebuster too. Katelyn eliminates Eva Marie. Katelyn eliminates Naomi too. Bree is in for her team and and hits a missle dropkick and Katelyn is out. Oxana hits a spinebuster on Bree and gets the pin. Nicci eliminates Oxana. Tamina vs Nicci up next - Tamina dominates the match with power moves and suplexes. JoJo against Tamina is more than a joke.... Samoan drop from Tamina and AJ covers JoJo. 2 on 2 - AJ and Tamina against Natalya and Nicci. Sharpshooter on Tamina and she has to tap. AJ vs Natalya in the ring, Nicci on the outside - sharpshooter again and AJ tab´s too. Good wwe womans match with 11 minutes match time for 6 of 10 points.

4. Open challenge by Ryback - Mark Henry vs Ryback 

Since Ryback is no Paul Heyman guy too - he is on the losing end of the wwe roster. Way to overrated for me and nothing more as a cheap GOLDBERG clone. Ryback is coming back over and over again with some power moves like a spine buster until Mark Henry hits something like a cross body and the WSS on Ryback. 8 minutes to bring back Mark Henry and Ryback to the mat where he belongs. 4 of 10 points.

5. WWE World Title - John Cena (c)  vs  Alberto DelRio

I cant stand Cena anymore - its all about Cena on Raw and SD. WWE has so many potential main eventers on the roster. Alberto should win back the title. DelRio attacking the elbow over and over again during the match. After just 18 minutes Cena hits the AA and retain´s the tilte. Lame, boring and waste of DelRios talent. 7 of 10 points.

6. The Best and The Beard vs The Wyatt Family

Good booking of the storyline so far over the last few weeks. Daniel Bryan should be WWE champ by now and not that goof Randy Orton. But so we can see the best Tag Team this year with Danial Bryan and CM Punk against the creepy Wyatt Family. Its like David vs Goliath - Power moves vs quickness.

The Wyatts dominating the first phase of the match with a lot of power and submission moves. Since CM Punk was able to tag Bryan in, The Beard taking over the match with some flying moves. Harper conters with a TOP ROPE POWER BOMB on Daniel Bryan - AWESOME. While CM Punk is laying on the outside, the Wyatts attacking Daniel Bryan over and over again.

CM Punk is back in the ring and flying from the tope rope to the outside. Back inside he hits the GTS on Harper to get the victory. 12 minutes are a little bit to short to getting the Wyatts over. But a great match with some awesome moves. 8,5 of 10 points.

7. WWE Title - Randy Orton (c) vs Big Show

Back into WWE business, The Big Show demanding a title shot to drop a corporate lawsuit. Orton try to hide on the outside but Big Show is to smart for that. Power moves and fits for Orton while the fans chearing "BORING" and "WE WANT BRYAN". Orton is running again because Big Show wants to hit the Chokeslam. Big Show on the top rope but Randy hits some big boots and the ddt.
 
Lame mainevent ever!!!! RKO conter by Big Show - Chokeslam on Orton but the kick out. And again Orton is running from the Big Fist. Here goes the ref after Orton bumps into him. Orton gets a chair but Show is too smart again. Both wrestlers battling thru the fans until Big Show hits the KO punch on the outside.  RKO on Big Show while Triple H, Steph and Kane are showing up. Punt to the skull of Big Show and Randy Orton wins after 10 minutes the main event. WORST BOOKING EVER!!!!  4 of 10 points.

John Cena comes to the ring and we have a stand off. Is this the first sign of the rumored title unification?

WWE Hell in a Cell 2013

Because I´m in hospital this week just a short post about the latest WWE ppv.

Three Way Tag Team Title Match
The Rhodes Brothers (Cody & Goldust) (c) beats The Shield (Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns) & The Usos (Jimmy & Jey)



--> really good Tag Team match - more of that please. 9 of 10 points


Mixxed Tag Team Match
Fandago & Sumer Rae beats The Great Khali & Natalya (w/ Hornswoggle)


--> thats the entertainment part of the ppv. 4 of 10 points.


United States Championship
Big E Langston beat Dean Ambrose(c) thru Count Out


--> good match from Big E. Better than I thought. 7,5 of 10 points.

2-on-1 Handicap Hell in a Cell Match
CM Punk beat  Ryback & Paul Heyman

--> a little bit to short but with the right winner. 7 of 10 points.


Tag Team Match
Los Matadores (Diego & Fernando) get the win over Real Americans (Jack Swagger & Antonio Cesaro w/ Zeb Colter)

--> again some entertainment with good tag action. 6,5 of 10 points

World Heavyweight Championship Match
John Cena beats Alberto del Rio (c) -----> new champ.

--> not again Cena winning a title. Lame. 7 of 10 points.

Divas Title Match
AJ Lee (c) (w/ Tamina Snuka) beats Brie Bella (w/ Nikki Bella)



--> good womans match. Hopes Brie wins the belt. Maybe next time.


WWE Championship - Hell In a Cell Match (Special Referee: Shawn Michaels)
Randy Orton beats Daniel Bryan --> new champ

HBK takes down Daniel Bryan with the Sweet Chin Music.

--> wrong winner again. But really good match and booking with HBK turns against this student. 9 of 10 points.

TNA Bound for Glory 2013

TNA biggest PPV of the year - hopefully with some new developments and better booking than last years PPV.

The show kicks off with THE TNA Title overall - THE X-DIVISION TITLE in an ULTIMATE X-MATCH

1. X-DIVISION-TITLE: Jeff Hardy vs Samoa Joe vs Austin Aries vs Manik (c) vs Sabin

Sabin is the only heel in this match and he´s trying to get to the title first. Outside brawling all over the place. Joe is battleing with Sabin, Hardy with Manik while Aries is waiting on the outside. Jeff showing the overhead facebuster on Aries and going for a ladder. Almost everybody using the ladder as a weapon to get an advantage.

Aries counters Joes muscle buster and flying into Hardy to find himself into a chokehold from Joe. Joe taking over the match with some power moves while Hardy brings the ladder into the match and Joe and Hardy fighting off on the top of the ladder until Aries kick both of the ladder. Sabin throwing the ladder away with Manik and Aries on top of it.

Twist of faith on Sabin, Velvet in the ring to stop Hardy and Sabin gets to the title first. Way to short and unspectecular for an X-Division match. 6 of 10 points.

BAD INFLUENCE making an appearance in the ring and claiming to be the best tag team in the wrestling world. They want to be part in the TAG TITLES Match later in the show. While attacking Eric Young ABYSS showing up and destroying BA with some BLACK HOLE SLAMS.

2. TAG TEAM TITLE: Storm & Gunner (c) vs Bro Mance 

Sorry but worst tag team booking for a long time.... There are much better tag teams in TNA than Bro Mance. Gunner and Storm starting with some good double moves. The Bros sneaking their way back into the match with the third bro on the outside. Storm showing the flying elbow from the tope rope but just for a 2 count. Robby counters the Eye of the storm but just a 2 count either. Double powerbomb/backstapper on Robby E but the save from Jessi. After some chaos Bro Mance delivered their finishing move to James Storm and winning surprisingly the Tag Titles. 7,5 of 10 points for a good tag match.

Kurt Angle gets his spot in the TNA HALL of FAME - THANK YOU ANGLE!!!!

3. KNOCKOUT TITLE - ODB (c) vs Gail Kim vs Brook

I´m still a big fan of Gail and ODB - so who needs Brook in that match. ODB againt Brook in the first minutes of the match. Gail takes Brook into the figure four around the steel post - like that move over and over again. ODB comes back with some power and submission moves until Gail kicks her hard into the back. Top rope action with all 3 knockouts - flying bodies everywhere. And than the ref got some girls action too and is out of action. ODB is dominating the match until Lei´d Tapa is coming to the ring and takes out ODB. Than a powerbomb for Brook and Gail wins the match and the title. Best winner and a really good knockout´s match - 7 of 10 points.  Gail Kim and her new bodyguard celebrating in the ring.

4. Bobby Rhode vs Kurt Angle

Angle vs Rhode sounds like a wrestling match of the year candidate. Rhode attacking the neck of Angle over and over again and shows a lot of power moves against Angle. Kurt comes back with the back suplex series but didnt get the win with it. Kurt Angle starts bleeding out of the mouth inside the crossface submission move. Both men on the top rope and Angle tried the moonsault but missed his opponent. Back into the crossface Angle changed the move into the Angle lock on Rhode. And another reversal and again the crossface on Angle. Reversals over and over again until Angle shows his german suplex series again.

Rhode hit a low blow and a neck breaker for a very close 2 count. Angle back on top and Rhode into the Angle lock again. Looks like Rhode passed out and while the ref is holding up Rhodes hand - tha hand fall on the rope and Angle has to break the submission move. Top rope Angle Slam and both men are down. Looks like Angle hits his head on that slam and Rhode gets the victory. 8,5 of 10 points and hopefully no injury for Angle.


5. EC3 Ethan Carter III vs Norv Fernum

WTF ?!?! - BORING - front face ddt and that one is over. 0 of 10 points.


6. Sting vs Magnus

Hopefully Sting can bring Magnus to a new level. I like Magnus since he startet in TNA. Both men are able to strike their moves until Sting gets Magnus into the Scorpion Death lock. Magnus is able to get out of the submission move. Magnus shows some of Sting moves against Sting and hits a screwdriver but just for a 2 count. Magnus on the top rope and he hits the flying elbow on Sting. Sting finds himself in the clotherleaf submission hold and he has to give up. A little bit to short for me and Magnus didnt look that much as a new born wrestler for me. 6 of 10 points.


7. TNA WORLD TITLE - Bully Ray (c) vs AJ Styles

There could be only one winner in this match and thats AJ. Bully bullying AJ the whole time during the match but AJ strikes back and hits some pretty hard moves on the world champ. Some of the Aces and Eights buddies attacking AJ over and over again until Bully hits Knox with a clothsline. Bully kicking AJ to the outside whos falling directly on the hammer. The fans screaming for TABLES and they got one. Bully on the table on the outside and AJ on the top rope - 450 splash but AJ misses Bully Ray but not the table.

Bully cuts off the map in the ring and bring the woodn planks to light. Dixie coming to the ring and handed a chair over to Bully but AJ hits a flying forarm on the chair into Bullys face. 450 splash again but Dixie breaks the count. Bully back body dropped AJ on the wood. AJ strikes the Palee on Bully to get back into the match followed by a chairshot to Bullys head. Spiral tap from the top rope and AJ is the NEW TNA WORLD CHAMPION. 

Good match even everybody knows the outcomeb. 8,5 of 10 points.

Good ppv at all with 1 total failure of the EC3 match and a way to short X-DIVISION match. 7 of 10 points for the ppv.

WWE Battleground 2013

Here are the results and my thoughts of last nights WWE PPV.

Kick off show: Dolph Ziggler vs Damien Sandow

Its a shame the WWE using up Ziggler on a PRE PPV show - that sucks. Ziggler controls the first minutes of the match with some quick moves. Sandow using his power to get back into the match until Dolph hit him with a dropkick while Sandow was flying from the top rope. A neckbreaker from Sandow went wrong on Ziggler but Ziggler continued and show off the Famouser for a close 2 count. Short time later - ZICK ZACK and the winner is ( of course ) Dolph Ziggler. 6 of 10 points.

1. World Heavyweight Championship - RVD vs Alberto DelRio (c) - HARDCORE RULES

RVD starting with some actions on the outside and the barrier. Meanwhile the Lawler telling the audiance that Sandow injured his knee in the Kick off show. But there is still the BIG rumor that he will cashing in his briefcase on the winner of this match. RVD hitting DelRio with a DDT on the chair. Del Rio using that same chair to get back into the match. RVD switch to a ladder as a weapon while DelRio flying into the ladder and directly to the outside floor. Moonsault on the ladder and DelRio... THIS IS AWESOME - Rolling thunder hits the ladder too but without DelRio. Rodriques helping RVD out of the armbar by hitting Alberto with a bucket.

OMG - frogsplash to the outside on DelRio laying under the ladder.  RVD on top with a chair but missing DelRio and landed hard. Cross arm breaker on RVD in a chair and the winner by submission: Alberto DelRio. Great opener for 9 of 10 points.

 

2. Tag Team Match - Real Americans vs Marella and Great Khali

That´s a KICK OFF show match for me and its only on the PPV for the giant swing from Antonio Cesaro on the Great Khali to getting him over with the fans for a face turn. The real Americans hitting hard on Marella with power and double team moves. After the HOT TAG to the Khali the REAL AMERICANS are very close to losing the match until Cesaro hits the legs and shows the GIANT SWING on the Great Khali and getting the win with it. 4 of 10 points. And 10 of 10 for the GIANT GIANT SWING.

 

 3. Intercontinental Title Championship - Curtis Axel (c) vs R-Truth

Sorry but thats bad booking at its best. No opponent for Axel besides CM Punk for weeks and 6 days for the PPV they find R-truth on the roster as a opponent. LAME. Just after the bell rings the fans startet the BORING chants. Axel dominates the match with some hard moves on R-Truth. Short and unspectacular match with Axel as the winner. 3 of 10 points.

 

4. DIVAS Title Championship - AJ Lee (c) vs Brie Bella

Thats good booking for months in the DIVAS division. AJ attacking Brie very hard hitting her face first into the steel post. AJ attacking the right arm over and over again to getting to the black widow submission move on Brie. Brie getting better into the match and the fans are on her side. Hard back breaker on AJ but just a 2 count. Tamina attacking Nicci on the outside and AJ using that for a quick roll up on Brie to retain the title. A little bit short but ok. 6 of 10 points.

5. The SHIELD vs The RHODES

Its looks to me that TEAM RHODES are on their way to the TAG Titles. The SHIELD are the dominant force in the match but the fans are loud and chearing for TEAM RHODES even without Codys LOVESTACHE. Goldust bringing this team back into the match by hitting hard on Reigns. Cody using some quick moves to get a close 2 count on Rollins and using SAMOA JOEs finisher to get another 2 count. Dusty showing his Elbow on Ambrose while Cody showing the CROSS ROADs to win the match and their jobs back. The audiance running wild... great tag match with the right winner - 8 of 10 points.

 

6. Kofi Kingston vs Bray Wyatt

I like the Wyatt Family gimmick and Kofi is a great opponent. Its power versus high flying moves. So Kofi shows off his flying skills over and over again inside and outside the ring to getting an advantage. Bray getting some help from the outside to get back into the match and he conters the S.O.S. with the SISTER Abygale to win this short match. 6 of 10 points.

 

7. CM Punk vs Ryback

Great booking too with this rivalry between Punk and Heyman. Ryback using his power to power down Punk. After Punk getting better into the match Heyman uses the mic to distract Punk and Ryback hits a powerbomb on CM Punk. Punk can come back with some quick kicks and a hurricanrana but cant strike with the Go to sleep. Ryback back in the game with some power pushes and Heyman wants to hit Punk with a kendo stick. While the ref is with Heyman, CM Punk hits a low blow on Ryback and gets the victory. Good match but not the end of the story. We will see them back for a HELL IN A CELL. 7 of 10 points.

8. WWE Title Championship - Daniel Bryan vs Randy Orton

WWE Bookers know how to get Daniel Bryan over with the fans for months now. Great idea with the GOAT versus WHATS BEST FOR THE BUSINESS. Orton is a great heel character as Bryan the best face at the moment. Bryan is working from the start on the left arm of Orton for a submission victory. Orton using some power moves to get back into the match and bringing Daniel more and more into trouble. Randy getting more vicious every move he hits. Bryan picking up the speed and getting back the control of the match. Tope rope dropkick from Bryan went into a reversal powerbomb from Orton into a submission move on Bryan. Daniel trying his YES lock but Randy got into the ropes and throws Bryan into the steel steps on the outside of the ring.

A superplex hurt them both and Randy suplexed Bryan to the outside floor. Back on the feet Daniel Bryan flying again and again from to top rope into Orton. 5 running dropkicks on Orton in the corner and the fans running wild - YES YES YES YES YES.

But Randy conters a kick into a suplex where Daniel Bryan landet badly on his shoulders. After Bryan conters a roll up cover into the YES lock the BIG SHOW comes to the ring and punsh down Daniel Bryan. Scott Armstrong is back as a ref in the ring but in the last second the Big Show stopped the count. Big Show knocks out Randy Orton and the fans are stunned.... no winner yet... no winner at all because the ppy time is up... great mainevent - 9 of 10 points.

With a BIG SHOW on the top rope the show gets off the air....
