WWE RAW results 16.2.15
The show opened with John Cena, who promised to kick Rusev’s ass at
Fast Lane. That brought out Rusev and the two brawled, culminating with
Cena throwing Rusev into the stage and punching him into
unconsciousness. Cena posed with the United States Championship.
1. Dean Ambrose defeated Luke Harper. Ambrose pinned Harper after hitting Dirty Deeds.
2. The New Day defeated Goldust and Stardust. Before the match, ‘The American Dream’ Dusty Rhodes tried to get his sons on the same page. Stardust missed a kick and almost hit Goldust, which distracted them long enough for Kofi Kingston to hit Trouble in Paradise and pin Goldust. After the match, Stardust officially turned on Goldust, dropping him with Cross Rhodes.
3. Roman Reigns defeated Kane. Daniel Bryan was on color commentary and tried to distract Roman with Yes chants. Roman speared Kane on the outside and rolled back in in time to win by count-out.
4. Paige defeated Summer Rae. Before the match, the Bella Twins stole Paige’s gear, causing her to borrow a fairy costume from a Rosebud (played by Leva Bates, aka NXT’s ‘Blue Pants’). Paige, dressed as a fairy, defeated Summer Rae by submission with the PTO. After the match the Bella tried insulting Paige, but she ignored them and said she’d win the Divas Championship at Fast Lane.
5. Dolph Ziggler defeated Seth Rollins. Ziggler had the match won with the Zig Zag, but J&J Security interfered to cause a disqualification. After the match, Erick Rowan and Ryback came to the ring to even the odds and chase away The Authority.
– Triple H discussed his issues with Sting and was interrupted by ‘The Nature Boy’ Ric Flair. Flair told Triple H he’s lost a step as a part-timer, and that he shouldn’t underestimate Sting. H shoved Flair down.
6. The Ascension vs. Darren Young and Some Guy never happened. Young and a nameless partner were supposed to face The Ascension, but got jumped before the bell. Titus O’Neil made the save for Young, seemingly reuniting the Prime Time Players.
7. Bad News Barrett defeated Damien Mizdow. Miz was a constant distraction or Mizdow, allowing Barrett to hit the Bullhammer Elbow for the win. After the match, Dean Ambrose attacked Barrett, zip-tied his hands around a ring post and forced him to sign a contract for an Intercontinental Championship match at Fast Lane.
8. Jimmy Uso and Naomi defeated Tyson Kidd and Natalya. Naomi pinned Natalya after a pin-reversal sequence. After the match, Kidd and Cesaro berated Natalya for losing the match.
9. Big Show defeated Daniel Bryan. During the match, Roman Reigns signed autographs and threw out t-shirts at ringside to distract Bryan. Eventually he just got into the ring and punched Show in the face, causing a disqualification. That led to a huge pull-apart brawl between Reigns and Bryan to end the show.
