WrestleMania 30 results and evaluation

Here are my thoughts about last nights WWE PPV of the Year - WRESTLEMANIA 30.

The show starts with a segment with Hogan, Austin and The Rock in the ring. Great opener for Wrestlemania. Like that...

1. Triple H vs Daniel Bryan

First match of the evening and my highlight of the ppv. Both men give everything they had Steph gets involved in it as well. At the end Daniel Bryan beats Triple H with The Running Knee Strike. After the match Steph hit some slaps on Bryan and Hunter attacks him from behind. 9 of 10 points

2. Kane and New Age Outlaws vs S.H.I.E.L.D.

With new facemasks the SHIELD dominating the whole match. Way to short my for taste but it shows that WWE still believes in the SHIELD as well as the fans. The SHIELD won with an DOUBLE TRIPLE POWERBOMB on the Outlaws. 6 of 10 points.

3. Andre the Giant Battle Royal

Big Show, Alberto DelRio, Sheamus, Rey Mysterio jr., Mark Henry and Dolph Ziggler were the biggest favorites for wining this match. At the end CESARO won the match. He really deserved this win. He is the next big thing in WWE with Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt. Generation Y is here. 7 of 10 points.

4. Bray Wyatt vs John Cena

This match was out of this world. Bray Wyatt is still creepy but over with the fans. The fans are singing during the match over and over again and show their respect to the Wyatts. At the end the WWE still doing the CENA CRAP and let him with this match. 7 of 10 points with the wrong winner.

5. The Undertaker vs Brock Lesnar

The booking of the storyline before WrestleMania wasnt that good as in the years before. So nobody really believed that Brock Lesnar could beat the Undertaker. During the match the Undertaker looks weak and old ( he is 49 years old ). Brock isnt the best wrestler in the world but still takes the match to some fame. At the shooking end he beats the Undertaker with a F5 and end THE STREAK. The audiance was shocked for minutes... 21 - 1.  7 of 10 points.

6. Divas Title Match - AJ vs all Divas

My favorites were The Bellas, Layla and Natalia for winning the title. Most of the Divas were not involved in the outcome of the match ( or the match itself ). Some pretty good moves like suplexes and a top rope powerbomb. At the end AJ keeps her title. 6 of 10 points.

7. World Title Match - Randy Orton (c) vs Batista vs Daniel Bryan

Oh a WrestleMania mainevent without Cena or TheRock. Ok, Bootista is crap and Orton way to overratet these days but it was a Daniel Bryan show for the fans. Bryan was injured and punished during this match and attacked by Triple H as well. But he came back every time and gets the win AND the WORLD TITLE at the end. Good WM 30 mainevent and FINALLY the right winner - not only for the fans - for the Wrestling business as well. 8 of 10 points.

PPV conclusion:

A better WrestleMania than 28 and 29 with some really good matches. I missed the surprising returns for RVD or CM Punk. Or some new (old) Divas like KONG or Mickey James. Or the RISE OF STING in WWE. But hey - after WRESTLEMANIA is before WRESTLEMANIA.... 7 of 10 points
