WWE Smackdown Live Results 3/14/17

1. Becky Lynch defeated Natalya. Lynch forced Natalya to tap out to the Disarmer. After the match, Carmella attacked both women.

— Miz and Maryse were in the ring for Miz TV. Miz showed a recap of his trash talk to John Cena on Talking Smack last week. Both in the recap and live, Maryse showed off her wedding ring and they said Nikki is jealous of them. Then Miz interviewed Maryse about Nikki screwing her over before she left WWE last time. Maryse called her a backstabber, and that brought out John and Nikki, who chased Miz and Maryse from the ring. Nikki said Maryse steals money from the company every night, because she’s worthless. Nikki challenged Maryse to a match tonight, so she can kick her ass.
The Miz said Nikki doesn’t get to make matches, and Maryse has nothing to prove. They started to leave, but Daniel Bryan came out. He said Miz ran his mouth, he showed annoying clips, and he steals his moves, and that really makes him want to punch Miz in the face. But even though he can’t, he knows two people who can punch him in the face. He then made the match official for WrestleMania 33: The Miz and Maryse vs. Nikki Bella and John Cena.

2. Mickie James defeated Alexa Bliss. This was a non-title match. Mickie pinned Alexa following the Mick Kick.

— Backstage, Styles had been waiting for Shane McMahon to arrive to the arena. McMahon finally arrived, and Styles beat him up i a loading dock, then threw him through a car window. Fit Finlay broke up the fight and called for an ambulance as McMahon bled from the top of his head. After the break, EMTs checked on him, and he refused to go to the hospital, but was helped to the trainer’s room.

— Styles went to leave the building, but was stopped by Daniel Bryan and security. Bryan said he lost all respect for Styles, and that he’s fired. He had security escort him from the building.
3. Mojo Rawley defeated Dolph Ziggler. Rawley threw Ziggler over the top rope to the floor three times, to prove a point about the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. After the third time, Ziggler took a walk, opting to lose the match by countout.

— Randy Orton came out to address Bray Wyatt. He explained why he joined the Wyatt Family and why he burned Sister Abigail’s final resting place. He swore that at WrestleMania, he would take everything from Bray Wyatt. Wyatt appeared on the TitanTron and said he found his way back home … or what’s left of it. He said he thought Randy had burned the soul of Sister Abigail, but he was wrong. She was the sister of Satan himself and her soul still lives. He said she has bestowed her power on Wyatt, and he is all-seeing and all-knowing. His mission is to purge all infidels, and he will start with Orton. He said he is born again, and he baptized himself in her ashes.

4. The Usos defeated American Alpha. This was a non-title match. During the match, they also showed updates of Shane McMahon backstage, being helped out of the arena. Before Shane was about to leave the building, he instead turned around and headed back inside the arena. American Alpha went for the Doomsday Bulldog, but Jimmy Uso pushed Gable off the top, then hit Jason Jordan and allowed Jey Uso to get the pin.

— Shane McMahon came to the stage with a microphone and challenged AJ Styles to a match at WrestleMania.

WWE Raw Results 3/13/17

1. Sasha Banks defeated Dana Brooke. Banks rolled up Brooke quickly to get the pin.

— After the match, Charlotte Flair ran down Dana and told her she was always a loser. The two came to blows and Dana ran off Charlotte.

2. Tony Nese and The Brian Kendrick defeated Akira Tozawa and TJ Perkins. Nese managed to knock Perkins into Tozawa, then roll up Perkins with a handful of tights to get the pin.

— Kevin Owens delivered another spotlight promo in the ring. He recapped his turning on Chris Jericho last month. He said he was never Jericho’s friend, but Jericho was just using him to get close to his Universal title. He said he did what anyone would have done, and he outsmarted Jericho. He promised to take Jericho’s United States Championship away from him at WrestleMania.

3. Chris Jericho and Sami Zayn defeated Samoa Joe and Kevin Owens. Owens and Joe were disqualified because they wouldn’t stop beating up Zayn. After the match, they double-teamed Jericho as well, laying him out with the pop-up powerbomb.

4. No. 1 Contender Match for the Raw Tag Team Championship: Enzo Amore and Big Cass NC Sheamus and Cesaro. Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows showed up and attacked Sheamus and Big Cass at the same time on the outside, causing a double disqualification. The Club continued the beatdown after the match, laying out Enzo and hitting Cesaro with the Magic Killer.

— Backstage, Mick Foley informed the Club that no winners means four opponents, and officially made a Triple Threat match for the Raw Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania.

5. Roman Reigns defeated Jinder Mahal. In the middle of the match, the Undertaker’s dong distracted Reigns, but he managed to get the pinfall victory after a Superman Punch.

— After the match, Reigns got on the microphone and called out the Undertaker. Instead, he got Shawn Michaels, who warned him not to take Undertaker lightly. Reigns said with all due respect, Undertaker retired HBK, and Reigns is going to be the man to retire the Undertaker. As Reigns walked back up the ramp, he was blindsided by Braun Strowman.

6. Austin Aries defeated Ariya Daivari. This was Aries’ in-ring Raw debut. Aries got the pin after the rolling elbow.

7. The Big Show defeated Titus O’Neil. Big Show hit Titus with three chokeslams, then pinned him.

8. Bayley defeated Nia Jax. Jax was disqualified by the referee when she refused to stop attacking Bayley in the corner.

— Stephanie McMahon introduced Mick Foley, who she said was going to announce the Raw Superstar who will be fired. He said after careful deliberation, the name he came up with is: Stephanie McMahon. He said he was wrong about Stephanie, and that he believes she was in cahoots with Triple H all along. She threatened to show him how bad she can be, and Triple H came to the ring.

Triple H warned Mick not to tread on this thin ice, and said he’s dangerously close to having to drag his beat-up body around the world trying to make a buck off his sad legacy. Triple H shamed him by saying his family depends on him, and told him to leave right now and come back to work next week and do exactly what Stephanie says.

Mick turned to leave, but stayed in the ring. When Triple H went over to talk to him, Foley gave him the Mr. Socko Mandible Claw. Stephanie hit Mick with a low blow, and then Triple H removed his coat and prepared to beat Foley down.

That’s when Seth Rollins’ music hit and Rollins came down the ramp on a crutch. The two had a staredown, and Triple H dared Rollins to get in the ring. Rollins dropped the crutch, revealed a new “Kingslayer” shirt, and ran into the ring, where he beat down Triple H and kicked him to the floor. Rollins challenged Triple H to fight him. Triple H picked up the crutch and got in the ring. Rollins briefly got the better of him, but Triple H attacked Rollins’ injured knee with the crutch, then locked on an inverted figure four. Referees finally hit the ring to break it up. Rollins made it to his feet, but Triple H hit his knee with the crutch one more time and gloated as the show went off the air.

WWE Fastlane 2017 Results

– Kickoff Match: Rich Swann and Akira Tozawa defeated The Brian Kendrick and Noam Dar. Swann pinned Dar after a Phoenix Splash.

1. Samoa Joe defeated Sami Zayn. Joe won by submission with the Coquina Clutch.

2. Raw Tag Team Championship Match: The Club (c) defeated Enzo Amore and Big Cass. Amore dived onto Luke Gallows on the floor, but as he was climbing back into the ring, Karl Anderson hit him with a running knee and got the pin.

3. Sasha Banks defeated Nia Jax. Banks pinned Jax with a bridging O’Connor roll.

– During the pre-show, Rusev and Jinder Mahal got into an argument. Mick Foley told them to go to the ring to have matches.

4. Cesaro defeated Jinder Mahal. Rusev and Mahal brawled before the match. Cesaro pinned Mahal after a pop-up European uppercut. Rusev continued to beat up Mahal after the match.

5. BIg Show defeated Rusev. Show pinned Rusev after three chokeslams and a knockout punch.

6. Cruiserweight Championship Match: Neville (c) defeated Jack Gallagher. Neville retained the championship after hitting a Red Arrow on Gallagher.

– New Day made an appearance, revealing they’ve created a bike delivery system for their ice cream. Or something?

7. Roman Reigns defeated Braun Strowman. Strowman missed a splash from the top rope, allowing Reigns to hit a spear for the win.

8. Raw Women’s Championship Match: Bayley (c) defeated Charlotte Flair. Sasha Banks interfered, distracted Charlotte and allowing Bayley to hit a belly-to-Bayley on the floor. Back in the ring Charlotte rolled Bayley up, but Sasha pointed out that Charlotte had a handful of tights. Bayley was able to then roll up Charlotte to retain the championship and end Charlotte’s pay-per-view win streak.

9. Universal Championship Match: Goldberg defeated Kevin Owens (c). Owens stalled outside of the ring for several minutes before the match started. Just before the bell rang, Chris Jericho’s music hit. The bell rang as Jericho walked to the ring, allowing Goldberg to immediately hit a spear and jackhammer to win the match and the championship.

WWE Fastlane 2017 Predictions

Here are my predictions for tonights WWE ppv

Kickoff Match: Rich Swann and Akira Tozawa vs. The Brian Kendrick and Noam Dar
Guess: picking the heels to win

Universal Championship Match: Kevin Owens (c) vs. Goldberg
Guess: Chris Jericho attacks Owens and gets Goldberg disqualified. No title change.

Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman

Guess: This could actually be pretty good. I think Reigns is going to take it, but I think both men are going to come out looking strong

Raw Women’s Championship Match: Bayley (c) vs. Charlotte Flair
Guess: Bayley should shockingly end Charlotte’s pay-per-view winning streak here, a show before WrestleMania, to really give Charlotte an angry edge. Then you’ve got Bayley going into WrestleMania as champion, and you pull the trigger on Sasha Banks going Chaotic Evil and hurting her best friend to win back the championship.

Raw Tag Team Championship Match: The Club (c) vs. Enzo Amore and Big Cass
Guess: I think The Club’s got this one. Enzo and Cass are probably the ones to end their reign, but not on Fastlane.

Cruiserweight Championship Match: Neville (c) vs. Jack Gallagher
Guess: The Gentleman will be a perfectly acceptable babyface victim we feed to Neville, who is currently doing some of the best work of his career. Looking forward to watching him eat the rest of this roster

Sasha Banks vs. Nia Jax
Guess: Nia will win here and demand a place in the WrestleMania multi-woman match

Samoa Joe vs. Sami Zayn
Guess: In what I’m sure will be another hard fought valiant effort by Sami Zayn, he is losing to Samoa Joe. Unless of course this is where Rollins decides to get his revenge.

WWE Smackdown Live Results 2/28/17

1. 2-out-of-3 Falls Match: Becky Lynch defeated Mickie James.Mickie James scored the first fall with a DDT. Lynch scored her first fall with a surprise roll-up. Lynch almost had her second, but Alexa Bliss came out to distract the referee. Using the distraction, Mickie tried to go after Becky but ended up hitting Alexa off the apron. Mickie tried to recover by rolling up Becky, but she was able to counter and ultimately tap Mickie out with the Disarm Her for her second fall and the win.

2. AJ Styles defeated Luke Harper. Styles pinned Harper for the win, but his foot was on the ropes. As Styles celebrated, Shane McMahon came out to restart the match. Styles picked up the win legitimately after a springboard 450 from the top rope and will face Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania.

— Dean Ambrose and Curt Hawkins were set to have a match, but Ambrose hit Hawkins with Dirty Deeds before the bell even rang. Then he grabbed the microphone and called out Baron Corbin. Corbin appeared on the Titantron, refusing to fight Dean tonight.

3. Chairs Match: Dolph Ziggler defeated Apollo Crews. Crews caught his throat on a steel chair after a drop toehold from Ziggler. Ziggler gave Crews an Atomic Drop onto the same chair, and then pinned him for the win.

— Bray Wyatt came out for his invocation to the WWE Universe. He was joined by Randy Orton (at the Wyatt Family compound) on the Titantron. Orton and Bray exhanged spooky words. Then, Randy explained this isn’t his world, and he never was. He then said that Sister Abigail lies beneath his feet, and he’s going to burn the spirit of Sister Abigail to death and watch Bray die with her. He grabbed a gas can and started pouring gasoline all over Wyatt’s spooky rocking chair shed while shouting that he’s coming for Bray and his title at WrestleMania. Back in the arena, Wyatt went apoplectic, then sank to the ground rocking back and forth as the shed burned.

WWE Raw Results 2/27/17

1. The New Day defeated Jinder Mahal and Rusev with Lana. Kofi distracted Rusev and lured him away from the ring by arguing with Lana, allowing Xavier Woods to roll up Jinder unimpeded.

2. Akira Tozawa defeated Noam Dar with Alicia Fox. After Dar ducked his kick, Tozawa dove under his legs and caught him with a German suplex to pick up the win. After the match, Brian Kendrick attacked Tozawa from behind.

3. Nia Jax and Charlotte defeated Bayley and Sasha. Nia Jax caught Sasha as she attempted a crossbody from the top rope, then slammed her down on top of Bayley. After Sasha rolled off, Jax finished Bayley off with a guillotine leg drop.

4. Big Cass with Enzo defeated Luke Gallows with Karl Anderson. After Enzo took out Karl Anderson at ringside, Gallows attempted to use the distraction against Big Cass. This backfired when Gallows came off of the ropes and met a big boot to the face from Cass.

5. Sheamus defeated Titus O’Neil. Sheamus quickly put Titus away with a Brogue Kick.

— Corey Graves sat down for an interview with Seth Rollins in the ring. Seth revealed that his MCL tear was worse than the doctors anticipated, and he doubted he’d be back in time for WrestleMania. He wonders if, when he bought in, he bought too much, and maybe he deserves the injury. The interview was interrupted by Triple H and Samoa Joe. Triple H warned Rollins that if he shows up at WrestleMania and calls H out at WrestleMania it’ll be the last thing he’ll ever do in a WWE ring. Rollins said he has nothing to lose, he will be going to WrestleMania, and it’ll be the last thing Triple H will ever do in a WWE ring.

6. Big Show defeated The Shining Stars in a handicap match.Big Show made short work of the tag team after a WMD to Epico, and a chokeslam to Primo.

7. Samoa Joe defeated Cesaro. Samoa Joe tossed Cesaro into the ropes, then caught him with an uranage off the rebound to get the pin. After the match, Sami Zayn ambushed Samoa Joe at the top of the ramp like Joe did to him. Joe and Zayn fought along the side of the stage until they were pulled apart by security.

— Mick Foley was in the ring to set up the contract signing for Braun Strowman’s match against Roman Reigns at Fastlane. Braun berated Foley, calling him pathetic. Mick Foley snapped, telling Braun that general managers come and go, but he’s a legend. Strowman will learn to respect him, or else. Roman Reigns came out to go after Strowman, and the two fought around the ring. Despite multiple Superman punches and a spear to Strowman through the barricade, Reigns still ended up laid out in the ring. Reigns dragged himself to the table to sign the contract, to the delight of Strowman.
