WWE Smackdown results 26.9.14 - Rusev crushed

Dean Ambrose vs. The Miz: They set it up with footage of what happened on Main Event. Ambrose was over big with the crowd. Damien Mizdow continually attempted to interfere. Miz came close to winning a few times thanks to it, but Ambrose eventually pulled it out with Dirty Deeds. Right as Dean was winning, Seth Rollins and Kane came down. They brawled for a minute before Ambrose grabbed the briefcase and ran off with it.

Battle royal for Intercontinental title shot: Only Cesaro and Jack Swagger were given entrances. They had a weird number of guys in, like 11 or 12. They worked to a final five with Kofi Kingston, Bo Dallas, Cesaro, Swagger, and Damien Mizdow. They all ganged up on Mizdow and he was eliminated quickly after they collectively set their sights on him. There was a terrible botch that didn't get edited out and Swagger almost killed Kofi. Not long after, Cesaro eliminated them both to win.

Star & Goldust vs. The Usos for tag team titles: The challengers got the edge early but the champions regained the advantage. At one point, Stardust was laying into Jey Uso on the outside and he was screaming, "WHERE'S THE KEY, COLE?!?" Michael Cole wondered aloud what he was talking about, considering the idea was the tag team titles represented the cosmic key. Maybe not. They set up for Jimmy Uso to get a hot tag and he ran wild, nearly killing Stardust with a suplex that had him landing on his head and neck. The Usos did a Doomsday Device that was about to get a pin but Goldust made the save with a belt shot to force a disqualification.

Summer Rae & Layla vs. Natalya & Rosa Mendes: This week they've working Total Divas storylines into the show. Summer and Natalya drew ratings for another physical confrontation on the show, so they had them work a tag match here while the commentary team put over the show and the angles played out on it. No wonder Vince McMahon can't stand this nonsense. It's nonsensical. They made a big deal about Rosa getting into the match and she made two clotheslines and a dropkick look absolutely awful. She sold death on a kick to the head and then the match broke down into chaos. Layla ultimately rolled Rosa up for the pin and victory.

Cesaro vs. Dolph Ziggler for the Intercontinental title: A decent match but a weird finish. Cesaro was working a powerbomb before Ziggler reversed into a sunset flip pinfall. Cesaro grabbed the bottom rope before the three count but the referee was out of position, so Ziggler retained the title. The announcers made sure to make a big deal about this, noting that Ziggler stole one. Everyone did good here.

Rusev vs. Big Show: This was the main event. Big Show got his stuff in but this was about getting heat on Rusev. He got most of the offense in but Show was set up to win late after a choke slam. Then Lana grabbed at his ankle and climbed in the ring to distract him. Rusev took advantage with the Russian flag and hit Show for the disqualification. He tried to hit Show with another big superkick but Show caught it and used the advantage to hit the KO punch. The announcers flipped out over this, as did the crowd, and it felt like a genuinely big deal. This was great.

TNA Impact wrestling 24.9.14 - Gold Rush

Gold Rush Tournament Qualifying Match: MVP vs. Low Ki

Low Ki gets a video as well, talking about wanting to push the roster over the years. Feeling out process to start with MVP shoving Low Ki into the corner. He rams Ki into the buckle but gets kicked hard in the chest to send MVP across the ring. A slam out of the corner gets two for MVP but Ki fires off some chops and kicks to the chest. MVP opens up his vest and says hit me harder so Ki snaps off one of the hardest chops I’ve ever seen. MVP comes back with a knee to the ribs and a kick to the face to send Low Ki out to the floor. We actually get a plancha to take Low Ki before going to a break.

Back with MVP still in control with a facebuster and the Ballin Elbow. Low Ki gets back up and is thrown into the air, only to land in a standing position on MVP’s shoulders and jump forward to dropkick MVP in the back. Awesome looking move. A kick to the head gets two on MVP before Ki sends him outside for a big springboard dive. Back in and Ki tries a cartwheel kick but MVP takes out his leg. The Drive By is enough to send MVP to the finals at 13:05.

Result: MVP b. Low Ki – Drive By (13:05)

Gold Rush Tournament Qualifying Match: Robbie E. vs. Tajiri

The fans chant WELCOME BACK to Tajiri, suggesting that this was taped out of order with other shows. A big kick sends Robbie out to the floor but he sends Tajiri’s ribs into the apron. Back in and we hit the chinlock for a bit before Tajiri pops up with his namesake handspring elbow for two. There’s the Tarantula but the Buzzsaw Kick misses. Robbie gets two off an implant DDT but the referee gets bumped, allowing Tajiri to blow the mist and hit the Buzzsaw to advance at 3:40.

Result: Tajiri b. Robbie E. – Buzzsaw Kick (3:40)

Gold Rush Tournament Qualifying Match: Austin Aries vs. Knux

The fans are entirely behind Aries who tries a test of strength for some reason. Aries rolls away so Knux does a handstand, only to have Aries spin around. Taz changes the story again by saying Rebel and Knux are dating, even though I thought they were brother and sister before. Knux gets taken down by a wristlock so he nips up to a huge response. Knux takes a bow so Aries tries a brainbuster to stop the fun. The big guy shoves him off so Aries dropkicks the knee out and takes over in the corner.

Aries knocks him to the floor but Knux blocks the suicide dive with a big boot. Back in and Aries fires off more kicks to the leg to send Knux outside again. The suicide dive connects, but it’s with the Freak and Craazy Steve instead of Knux. Back in again with Knux getting two off a huge side slam. The Sky High is countered with a hurricanrana and Aries nails the corner dropkick. Knux is too big for the brainbuster so Austin hits some discus forearms and another corner dropkick before getting the big man up for the brainbuster and the pin at 7:04.

Gold Rush Tournament Qualifying Match: Mr. Anderson vs. Magnus

Magnus jumps him to start and slams him face first into the mat for some early two counts. We hit the chinlock for a bit before a clothesline gets two on Anderson. Back up and a double clothesline puts both guys down before Anderson wins a slugout. Magnus grabs a belly to back suplex into a slam for a close two. He loads it up again but Anderson reverses into the Mic Check for the pin at 6:50.

Result: Mr. Anderson b. Magnus – Mic Check (6:50)

Gold Rush Tournament Qualifying Match: Abyss vs. Samuel Shaw

The fans chant “Dexter Morgan” at Shaw. Abyss knocks him down and grabs a chokeslam but Shaw kicks him in the ribs to escape. Instead Abyss grabs him by the throat again and shoves him out to the floor in a big crash. Shaw fights back on the floor and rams Abyss into the steps.

He goes after Abyss’ arm in what is called a smart move by ramming it into various objects. This idea works in theory, but it would make more sense to go after the arm Abyss uses for his big moves. To be fair though, Shaw is a bit out there. Shockingly enough, Abyss makes a comeback using moves with his strong arm, including a chokeslam to put Shaw on the floor. Shaw grabs a chair and blasts Abyss in the head, which Hebner somehow doesn’t see. Back in and the Black Hole Slam ends Shaw at 6:35.

Result: Abyss b. Samuel Shaw – Black Hole Slam (6:35)


Gold Rush Tournament Finals: Austin Aries vs. Abyss vs. Tajiri vs. MVP vs. Mr. Anderson
Winner gets a shot at any title at anytime and it’s one fall to a finish. MVP stays in the ring while everyone else brawls on the floor but Abyss will have none of that. Instead MVP bails to the corner so Abyss can beat up Anderson to start. It’s off to Tajiri who wins a kickoff with Anderson before missing a charge into the corner. Anderson misses a charge of his own and hits the post, giving Tajiri a rollup for two. Aries comes in and grabs on Tajiri’s head but Taijri scores with the handspring elbow for two.
 
Back from a break with Aries countering the Tarantula but getting kneed in the back to block the suicide dive. Anderson comes in for the rolling fireman’s carry for two but it’s off to Abyss. Aries escapes the chokeslam and slaps MVP for a tag. MVP doesn’t want to come in so Aries catapults him in over the top but MVP tags out to Tajiri.

Abyss brings in Anderson who is quickly caught in the Tarantula. Mr. slams Tajiri down off the top but MVP tags himself in. Anderson looks right at him before MVP hits the Drive By for two as Aries makes the save. Everything breaks down and MVP loads up the Drive By on Aries, only to get rolled up for the pin at 15:12.

Result: Austin Aries b. Abyss, Mr. Anderson, MVP and Tajiri (15:12)

WWE RAW 22.9.14 review - new generation

Here is my latest RAW review:


The show opened with Dean Ambrose saying he isn’t leaving the ring until he gets his hands on Seth Rollins. That brought out John Cena, who said that HE wanted to fight Rollins. Cena and Ambrose almost came to blows when The Authority interrupted. Cena and Ambrose rushed them and chased Rollins out of the arena. Rollins stole a car to escape.

1. Intercontinental Championship Match: Dolph Ziggler defeated The Miz (c). In a similar finish to their Night Of Champions match, Ziggler kicked Damien Sandow and got rolled up by The Miz. This time, Ziggler reversed the rollup into a rollup of his own to pin Miz and regain the Intercontinental Championship.
*thank god Ziggler won his title back. He is the better IC champ these days. 7 of 10 points.

2. Jack Swagger defeated Bo Dallas. Swagger won by submission with the Patriot Lock.
*Bo(lost) again - 10 points for that.

3. Natalya defeated Summer Rae. Natalya won by submission with the Sharpshooter.
*another total divas match at RAW. Not worth a comment. 1 of 10 points.

4. Dean Ambrose defeated Kane. Ambrose had the match won with Dirty Deeds, but Seth Rollins interfered to cause a disqualification. After the match, Ambrose tried to fight off both men both got chokeslammed. The fight continued after a commercial break with Ambrose finding Rollins backstage and attacking yet again. Ambrose was stopped by The Authority and locked into a guarded room backstage.
*Ambrose is back in action. Like that and his character. 7 of 10 points.

5. Sheamus and The Usos defeated Cesaro, Goldust and Stardust. Jey Uso pinned Goldust with a splash.
*so both feuds will continue. Hope for CESARO to win the US title but I guess Rusev will battle Sheamus for the title next. 7 of 10 points

6. Rusev defeated Mark Henry. Rusev won the Night Of Champions rematch when Mark Henry passed out in The Accolade. Henry was playing up his injured back.
*good match booking to build up Rusev as a beast and the next US champ. 6 of 10 points.

7. Adam Rose and The Bunny defeated Slater Gator. Yes, The Bunny. Rose pinned Heath Slater with the Party Foul.
*how long we have to wait to see the wrestler behind the bunny. Its Zayn or Darryn Young. Slator Gator for Tag champs. 2 of 10 points.

8. Divas Champion AJ Lee defeated Nikki Bella. AJ won by submission with the Black Widow.
*the best 3 female wrestlers not divas wrestling for the title at the moment. Like that. Paige against AJ in a  1 on 1 is next as well as Nikki vs Brie. 7 of 10 points

9. John Cena defeated Randy Orton. Cena won by DQ when The Authority interfered. They’d promised a “surprise” for the match that the announce team put over as another pile of cinderblocks, but it turned out to be Dean Ambrose hiding in a box. Ambrose and Cena fought off The Authority and sent them packing.
*with Kane and Rollins on the outside - why we had a match at all. Save us time and let them interfere right at the beginning. Next week its Cena/Ambrose vs Kane/Rollins. 0 of 10 points.

WWE Night of Champions 2014 results and review

Here is my review of last nights ppv:


The Usos vs. Gold & StarDust (WWE Tag Title match)

They built the match up for Jimmy to get a hot tag to Jey. Jimmy took out Goldust on the outside with a dive. Jey had the match in hand but Stardust hit him with dark matter but Jey kicked out. Stardust tied up Jey on the ropes and slapped him with his glove. Jey got out and got a near fall. Lots of dives in this match. At one point everyone was out of it outside of the ring. Jey did a splash but Stardust put his knees up, rolled him up, and pinned him. New tag team champions.
*really good opener and the expected title change. 7,5 of 10 points

Cesaro vs. Sheamus (United States title match)

the announcers told the people watching on PPV that they can watch the network for $9.99. Good match. There were some fans booing Sheamus throughout the match. Late in the match Sheamus went for the brogue kick but Cesaro got out of the way. Cesaro got a near fall and then hit a butterfly suplex for another near fall. Lots of really cool spots at the end. Sheamus tried a second time and missed but was picked up put on Cesaro’s back and slammed again for a near fall. Cesaro hit Sheamus with tons of slaps, uppercuts, and a kick to the face. The ref pulled Cesaro out of the corner and Sheamus hit the brogue kick for the win. Awesome match.
*besides the wrong winner ( and I guess the feuf isnt over yet ), both wrestler really got chemistry. 8 of 10 points
The Miz vs. Dolph Ziggler (Intercontinental title)


Miz was accompanied by Damien Mizdow. Ziggler was accompanied by R-Ziggler. Mizdow interfered on the outside and beat up Miz and R-ZIggler. He got in Florida Georgia Line’s face and was shoved by them. R-Ziggler chased Mizdow out to the backstage area allowing Ziggler alone with Miz in the ring. Ziggler didn’t get a pinfall though. Eventually Miz put the figure four on Ziggler but Ziggler made it to the ropes to break the hold. Ziggler hit his leg drop finisher for a 2 count. Mizdow showed up causing a distraction and allowing Miz to rollup Ziggler. NEW INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION: The Miz.
*again the lame excuss of the bad knee. Dont understand that at all. Both wrestlers can do much better in the ring. 6,5 of 10 points
Mark Henry vs. Rusev

When Mark Henry got in the ring Lilian Garcia sang the national anthem. Henry cried during the anthem as he stood in the middle of the ring with his hand over his chest. No Lana promo. Minutes into the match Rusev went for The Accolade but Henry got up before Rusev could lock it in.  They played up Henry’s bad back because Henry pushed him (back first) in the steel steps. Henry hit the World’s Strongest Slam but was slow to go for the cover and Rusev was able to roll out of the ring. Rusev hit Henry with a kick and then got The Accolade on Henry. Henry tapped out. Rusev wins. JBL said that Henry let the whole country down. Cole asked who can stop Rusev.
*after Henrys dominance at RAW and SD! it was clear that he will lose this match. Maybe Rusev will hunt after the US title now.
Randy Orton vs. Chris Jericho

As Orton walked to the ring they showed the clip of him attacking Jericho two weeks ago. This is scheduled to be Jericho’s last match for this current cycle unless WWE convinces him for one more match on Raw tomorrow. The match started slow but they slowly got the crowd into it. Orton went for an RKO but Jericho pushed him off and hit a lionsault for a near fall. Orton went for the DDT off the second ropes but Jericho countered with a Wall of Jericho but Orton countered and rammed Jericho head first into the turnbuckle. Orton went for a punt but missed. Jericho rolled him up, got a 2 count, and then applied the Walls of Jericho for a long time. Orton finally was able to reverse it and punch his way out of it. Orton then did the DDT from the second rope. Orton seemed upset for a second. It looked like he may have hurt his back. Orton was going for the RKO but Jericho hit Orton with the code breaker and almost got a three count. The match is picking up big time. Jericho went to the top rope and dove off the top but Orton hit him with an RKO and the pin for the win. Randy Orton wins. Great match.
*best match of the evening for me even if we know the winner all along. Thanks Y2J for another great run in WWE. 9 of 10 points.

Paige vs. AJ Lee vs. Nikki Bella (Divas title)

 They knocked Paige out of the ring early so it was AJ and Nikki for about a minute. Then Nikki was knocked out so it was Nikki and Paige for a little while. Paige was pretending to be AJ’s friend and hugged her but AJ shoved her off. Then Paige got aggressive. At one point AJ got the black widow on Nikki but Paige broke it up. There was a tower of doom superplex spot off the top rope with Paige on the second rope suplexing Nikki and Paige on the bottom suplexing both of them.Nikki hit the rack attack on Paige but AJ broke up the pin. There was a crazy bump from Nikki. AJ pulled Nikki off the apron and she fell back first outside of the ring. AJ got tbe black widow on Paige for the win. Paige tapped. AJ is the new Divas champion.
*WOW - what a DIVAS title match. Best womans match in months in WWE. AJ is the right winner, even if I bet my money on PAIGE. 8 of 10 points
Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena (WWE Championship)

Brock went for an early suplex but Cena countered with clotheslines and an AA but Lesnar kicked out before the one count. Lesnar got a kimura lock on early but Cena broke it by getting to the ropes. Brock finally got a German suplex but Cena got up and fought back. Lesnar then wrapped up Cena’s arm near the ropes and hit Cena with a knee to the ribs. Brock got the kimura lock again but Cena got his foot on the rope. Lesnar hits German uplex #2. followed 3 Eddie Guerrero suplexes. Cena had short bursts of offense but Brock would then take over. Brock hit an overhead suplex and then went for a cover twice but Cena kicked out. Cena got a burst of offense with punches but Brock turned things around quickly and rammed his shoulder into Cena’s rib in the corner. Cena went for the AA but Brock turned it into German suplex #3. Brock’s nose is busted open from an elbow from Cena. Cena did finally get an AA but Brock kicked out at 2. Cena got the STF on Lesnar but Lesnar broke it and put on the kimura lock on Cena again. Cena powered up with Lesnar still on him and rammed him into the turnbuckle to break the lock. Cena got another AA and then the STF. Cena hit another AA. Seth Rollins got in the ring and hit Cena with the briefcase twice. He took out Cena and Cena was knocked out of the ring. Rollins hit the curb stomp and then gave the referee the case. The bell never rang though and Cena attacked Rollins. Brock came up from behind and hit the F5 on Cena. The announcers wondered if Lesnar would have tapped out of Rollins never got involved. John Cena wins by disqualification but Brock Lesnar is still the WWE Champion.
*Brock still got the title and WWE saved CENA once again from a clear lose. Thats really lame. And noboday really thinks that Seth Rollins can beat Brock Lesnar. 7,5 of 10 points
 

WWE Night of Champions 201 PREVIEW

Intercontinental Title: Dolph Ziggler vs. The Miz

The feud has been fun in some ways, but they've also been trying too hard to make it silly too. It would be nice if the title was treated more seriously and that Miz did promos about how he wanted to be the champion instead of talking about his "moneymaker" (aka his face) all the time. The best part about this is that Ziggler is actually in a meaningful position again, which is great considering how awful he was booked for most of the last year.

Since Ziggler just won the title from Miz at SummerSlam it would be stupid to move it back to Miz five weeks later. I expected Damien Sandow in Miz' corner and R-Truth in Ziggler's corner, so look for a finish with everybody getting involved. In the end, Ziggler hits the Zig Zag to win after ten minutes. Miz will probably get a push up the ladder after the match too. He's done a good job as a heel.

Winner: Dolph Ziggler





United States Title: Sheamus vs. Cesaro

This is a match we've seen numerous times this year. They must really like working together because they work a similar style. It's as if they're in a competition to see who can throw the most painful looking forearm shots. Cesaro's been booked terribly for several months now. Even though he lost a lot of matches the last few months, he's back in a position to win a title. If they get 15 minutes it could seriously be the match of the night, but it's probably going 8-10 minutes.

Why go back to a match they already did at Payback in June? Because they realize that Sheamus isn't doing anything as US Champion. The title isn't helping him and he isn't helping the title. It's time to have a new champion that can hopefully look better than most guys holding this title have looked. Cesaro wins in some cheap way whether it's the tights or doing the eye poke without the ref seeing, which is a finish he's done recently.

Winner and New US Champion: Cesaro



Divas Title: Paige vs. Nikki Bella vs. AJ Lee

This is another title match where the former champion is getting the rematch except in this case it's not just AJ Lee challenging Paige, but there's Nikki Bella getting involved too. The obvious and most likely finish will be Brie coming down to ringside, distracting Nikki and that will lead to the finish with Paige retaining. It's still early in the Bella twins feud, so the next logical step involves the face Brie actually doing something other than crying for a change.

If Paige pins Nikki then it will allow WWE to continue the Paige vs. AJ feud since AJ wasn't pinned. Even though I really like Paige and AJ, their feud has become really boring. Enough with the skipping already. Move on.

Winner: Paige



Mark Henry vs. Rusev

They are really trying to make this a big feud huh? I'm not sure if it's there, but they got to main event Raw and Smackdown this week. In both instances, Henry got the advantage. Of course that brings the old "look strong on TV, lose on PPV" theory into play although I mention it less often because WWE has been going against it of late to throw me off.

It should be a physical match. Look at them. They two big dudes that are going to throw bombs and it may be fun to watch. Henry really hasn't wrestled much this year, though, so it will be interesting to see if he's able to have a decent match. It's not like Henry is a great in-ring performer although he did have solid matches during his 2011 push. In the end, Rusev should win this match in about eight minutes to continue his streak as a guy that hasn't been pinned or made to submit.

Winner: Rusev



Tag Team Titles: The Usos vs. Stardust and Goldust

This is another one where logic has to come into play. It seemed like the Usos might lose to Harper & Rowan a few months back when they had a PPV match that they won, then they did another one that was 2/3 Falls and they won that too. Why would they retain? Probably so they could drop the titles to Goldust & Stardust, who turned heel about a month ago after an assault on Jey Uso's knee.

If the Usos retain it's probably going to be because The Ascension will be called up to the main roster very soon and when that happens they might be pushed right away so much so that they win the Tag Titles in the very near future. While that is a possibility, the idea of Goldust & Stardust winning the gold makes a lot of sense. I'm going with them in a match that gets 10-13 minutes.

Winners and New Tag Team Champions: Goldust & Stardust



Chris Jericho vs. Randy Orton

This is the most obvious match on the card. Jericho's not a guy that wins that much anymore even when WWE tries to say things like he's in the best shape of his life. Back to the match, Orton winning is a lock. He lost to Roman Reigns at SummerSlam, so now he'll go over a pretty big name in Jericho so that WWE can say "the Viper is back" repeatedly in every one of his segments. We could even see a punt by Orton to send Jericho packing since he's going to promote his book and do his commitments with his band Fozzy as well. Orton wins clean in a match that will probably get about 15 minutes.

Winner: Randy Orton



Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins

I'm with every other wrestling fan out there that questions why WWE would do this match six days earlier at Raw when they had already announced it for Night of Champions. Their match on Raw felt flat because it was late in a bad show. Hopefully it's a better reaction on Sunday because they're hard workers that know what they're doing out there.

What will most likely happen for the finish will be Reigns will look like he'll have the win all set up just like he did on Monday, but then Kane will show up to attack him for the DQ finish. At that point it will either be Reigns is left lying while the announcers wonder if anybody can stop Rollins and Kane or Dean Ambrose comes back to save his former Shield buddy from the attack.

Since I don't think WWE wants Reigns losing, I'm going with Reigns winning by DQ and that Ambrose shows up to make the save. That way there's an anticipation going into Raw with fans getting excited to see Ambrose back.

Winner: Roman Reigns by DQ

**Update: Reigns was brought to a hospital and had a surgery late last night. So maybe this match is not happening and Dean Ambrose will replace him against Seth Rollins.**



WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena

It's going to be another clean win for Brock Lesnar. If it's anything else I'll be surprise. What I expect is a match more similar to their battle at Extreme Rules 2012 although at this point no stipulation has been announced. That could change on the Kickoff Show or before the match when they decide add a stipulation. They should have added a stipulation to it before the match to make it different from SummerSlam.

If there's a shady finish then perhaps that's their way of not making Cena super strong like usual. However, Lesnar winning in dominant fashion is the smart move. It's okay for Cena not to win. The man wins nearly feud he has, so if he happens to lose to a guy that is a strong WWE Champion it's not a big deal. Cena will be okay. Taking the title off Lesnar five weeks after he won it would be very foolish. We don't need another Cena title reign. Really not.

This will probably be a 20-25 minute match that is great to watch if you enjoy physical brawls in the main event. Don't be shocked if Cena comes close to winning a few times. It's going to be one of those "anybody can win" type of finishes with a lot of excitement built up for the finish. I'm looking forward to it.

Winner: Brock Lesnar

Final Thoughts
It's a very solid card with some potentially good matches from top to bottom. Best matches will be Sheamus/Cesaro and Ziggler/Miz. The main event will probably be a good one too. I'd be surprised if Lesnar didn't leave without the gold.

WWE Smackdown 19.9.14 review - Oh dear

Jimmy Uso w/ Jey Uso vs. Stardust w/ Goldust

Footage is shown of Goldust and Stardust attacking the injured knee of Jey Uso three weeks ago on RAW following a match. Then we see footage from two weeks ago when The Usos made a comeback and hit Stardust with a crutch. A pre-taped promo is shown with Goldust and Stardust. Stardust says it doesn’t matter who they hurt. They will harness the power of a supernova and retrieve the cosmic key. Goldust says they will say, “U-so-long” to the Tag Team Titles.

They lock up, and Stardust quickly powers him to the corner. Jimmy punches him away and chops the chest. Stardust kicks him before whipping him, but Jimmy puts the brakes on and clotheslines him. Jimmy gets a waistlock applied, but Stardust head-butts him to get out. Stardust misses a clothesline, and Jimmy kicks and punches him. Stardust counters a body slam and hits a neckbreaker. Stardust kicks away at him before stomping the midsection. Stardust chokes him with his boot before smashing him into the corner. Jimmy punches him, but Stardust drops down and kicks him in the temple. Stardust sizes him up in the corner, but he runs into a boot. Jimmy misses a superkick, but he blocks a kick from Stardust and spins him, but Stardust blocks the kick again. Stardust pushes him into the ropes, but Jimmy quickly comes back with a superkick for the win.

The Miz and Cesaro w/ Damien Sandow vs. Dolph Ziggler and Sheamus w/ R-Truth

Damien Sandow and R-Truth are still dressed as the stunt doubles of Miz and Ziggler respectively. Dolph Ziggler will start the match against Cesaro. They lock up, and Cesaro quickly takes him down. Ziggler slides away, and he goes for a takedown on Cesaro. Cesaro doesn’t go down and applies a side headlock. Cesaro hits a takeover, but Ziggler quickly gets a head-scissor applied. Cesaro rolls out of it and reapplies the side headlock. Ziggler whips him off, but Cesaro takes him down with a shoulder block. Cesaro wiggles his hips as The Miz, still in sunglasses, claps from the apron. Cesaro hits another headlock takeover, but Ziggler soon fights up and whips him off. Ziggler leapfrogs him and goes for a hip toss, but Cesaro blocks it. Ziggler attempts a sunset flip, but Cesaro picks him up and military presses him. Ziggler slides out, lands on his feet, and dropkicks him. The Miz quickly provides a distraction, but he escapes before Ziggler can hit him. Ziggler then leaps at Cesaro, but Cesaro counters into a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker for a near fall. The Miz is tagged in, and he kicks Ziggler in the face while still wearing sunglasses. Miz finally removes them and tosses them to Sandow. Miz hits another kick to Ziggler’s face, but he’s only able to pick up a near fall. Miz punches and stomps him before attempting a suplex. Ziggler counters into an inside cradle for a two count. Ziggler quickly pops up and hits a neckbreaker. Ziggler goes for a famouser, but Miz counters into the Reality Check for a near fall.

We come back from the break to see Miz hit Ziggler with his trademark corner clothesline. Miz goes to the top rope and hits a diving axe handle for a near fall. Miz rips at Ziggler’s nose before applying a chin lock. During the commercial break, Cesaro big booted Sheamus off the apron before hitting a deadlift gutwrench suplex to Ziggler. Back to live action, Ziggler fights up from Miz’ chin lock and hits a jawbreaker to counter out. Both men are down, but Miz makes the tag to Cesaro first. Cesaro quickly tries to knock Sheamus off the apron, but Sheamus punches him back. Ziggler then gives Cesaro a back body drop. Cesaro tries to stop him from tagging Sheamus, but he eats a back elbow. Cesaro soon lifts him and tosses him in the air for A Very European Uppercut, but Ziggler counters into a big DDT.

Sheamus and Miz are tagged in. Sheamus hits a pair of Irish hammers before giving him a shoulder block in the corner. Sheamus knocks Cesaro off the apron before putting Miz on the apron and delivering the 10 Beats of the Bodhrán. Sheamus gives him 15 blows before hitting a rolling fireman’s carry slam for a near fall. Sheamus quickly sends him into the ropes, but he lowers his head and eats a kick. Miz hits the ropes, and he runs into an Irish Curse Backbreaker. Cesaro breaks up the pinfall. Ziggler quickly runs in and gives Cesaro a back body drop over the top rope. Cesaro lands awkwardly and immediately grabs his knee. Miz then knocks Ziggler out of the ring. Sheamus then catches Miz with a powerslam. Sandow gets on the apron, so Sheamus grabs him. Sandow escapes, but R-Truth clotheslines him at ringside. Miz quickly rolls him up for a two count. Miz immediately gets up and kicks him in the knee before hitting a DDT for a near fall. Miz waits for him to get up, but R-Truth gets on the apron. This distracts Miz, which allows Ziggler to superkick him. Miz then stumbles into a Brogue Kick, and Sheamus picks up the win.

Heath Slater w/ Titus O’Neil vs. Adam Rose

Replays are shown of the troubles Heath Slater and Titus O’Neil have had with the bunny from Rose’s entourage. They circle the ring, and Slater quickly punches him down in the corner. Slater sends him to the opposite corner, but he runs into the boots. Rose hits a cross-body block for a two count. Rose quickly hits a headlock takeover, but Slater quickly fights up and hits a back suplex. Slater drops an elbow and punches away at him. Slater kicks him in the back before punching him in the head again. Slater picks up another two count. Slater kicks and chokes him in the corner. Slater hits a body slam before taunting the crowd. Slater goes to the second rope and leaps, but Rose gets his boots up. Rose then catches him with an inside cradle for a two count. Rose avoids an avalanche and hits a pair of running forearms. Rose hits a spinebuster before hitting a corner clothesline. Rose punches away at him before ripping Slater’s shirt off. Rose hits the ropes, but O’Neil trips him. Slater hits a high crescent kick for a near fall.

The Damn Bunny hops into the ring, and he hits O’Neil with a plancha! Slater is in disbelief. Slater then turns into Party Foul, and Rose picks up the win as the Bunny hops into the ring.

Los Matadores and Big Show vs. The Wyatt Family

We join the match in progress as Fernando chops Rowan. Rowan reverses a whip, but he misses a pair of clotheslines. Fernando keeps him back and goes for a pin, but Rowan doesn’t go down. Rowan then hits him with a fall-away slam. Bray Wyatt is tagged in, and he stomps Fernando before hitting a snap suplex. Wyatt immediately follows up with a senton splash. Luke Harper is tagged in, and he drops an elbow before dropping a fist for a one count. Harper hits an uppercut, but Fernando comes back with a punch. Fernando goes for a sunset flip, but Harper kicks out at one. Harper quickly takes him down with an elbow strike for a two count. Harper hits some straight right hands before stepping on his throat. Rowan is tagged in, and he drops a knee. Rowan then digs his fists into the temples. Fernando fights up, but Rowan knees him. Rowan goes for a back suplex, but Fernando lands on his feet and rolls to Big Show.

Big Show hits a pair of clotheslines before sending him to the corner for a running butt bump. Big Show hits the ropes, but Rowan chop blocks him. Wyatt is tagged in, and he kicks away at Big Show. Wyatt clubs away at him before hitting a DDT for a two count. Harper is tagged in, and he stomps Big Show. Harper then does the gator roll to the Big Show. Big Show soon fights up and punches out. Big Show hits the ropes, but Harper dropkicks him down. Rowan is tagged in, and he picks up a two count. Rowan stomps him, and Big Show leaves the ring to recover. Wyatt is tagged in, and he punches Big Show at ringside. Big Show head-butts him and gets in the ring. Wyatt stops him from making a tag before tagging in Harper, who stomps Big Show. Harper then applies a chin lock. Big Show fights up and counters out with a back suplex. Big Show then goes to the second rope, but Harper avoids the Vader Bomb. Harper knocks Los Matadores off the apron before tagging Wyatt in. Wyatt kicks Big Show before applying a chin lock. Big Show powers up and gets out with a back suplex, again.

Diego is tagged in, and he hits Wyatt with a top rope chop. Diego hits a pair of flying back elbows before punching him. Wyatt reverses a whip, but Diego back flips over him before giving him a drop-toe-hold into the ropes. Diego hits the ropes, but Wyatt takes him out with a flying forearm smash. Outside the ring, Rowan misses a clothesline on Fernando. Harper then big boots Fernando down. Big Show quickly pushes Rowan into the barricade. Harper then sends Big Show into the ring post. Wyatt sends Diego into the ropes, and he hits Harper with a suicide dive. Diego snaps Wyatt off the top rope and goes to the top rope, but he jumps over Wyatt. Wyatt then catches him with Sister Abigail for the win.

Paige vs. Nikki Bella

Paige shoves her, and Nikki shoves her back. Paige tackles her, and they roll around the mat exchanging punches. Paige throws her into the corner, but she runs into a back elbow. Nikki hits a springboard kick for a one count. Paige rolls to the apron, but Nikki pulls her hair. Nikki then knocks her off the apron. Nikki throws her back into the ring, and Paige kicks her off the apron. Paige throws her into the ring and applies a sleeper hold with a body scissor. Nikki fights up, but Paige clubs her down. Nikki punches back at her, but Paige soon takes her down with a kick. Paige sends her into the ropes, but she misses a clothesline. Nikki hits a clothesline and a dropkick before hitting a back body drop. Nikki hits a face-buster for a two count. Paige quickly comes back with a kick to the jaw before hitting the Paige Turner for the win.

Jack Swagger w/ Zeb Colter vs. Bo Dallas

They lock up at the sound of the bell, and Swagger quickly powers him to the corner. Swagger gives a clean break, and they lock up again. Swagger powers him into the ropes and gives another clean break. Dallas slaps him in the face and gets out of the ring. Dallas runs away from him, but Swagger eventually clotheslines him at ringside. Swagger does his “We the people” taunt before bouncing him off the commentary table. Swagger throws him into the ring. Dallas kicks him as he comes into the ring and hits a neckbreaker. Dallas hits him in the corner before hitting a clothesline for a one count. Dallas then applies a chin lock, but Swagger quickly gets out. Dallas punches him, but he has a whip to the corner reversed. Dallas then stumbles into a big boot. Swagger hits a Swagger Bomb before going for a slam, but Dallas slides off and leaves the ring. Swagger chases him and grabs him before he can leave the ring again. Dallas quickly snaps his arm off the top rope and hits a Running Bo-Dog for the win.

Roman Reigns vs. Rusev w/ Lana

They lock up, but neither man can get an advantage due to being equal in power. They eventually fall out of the ring. Rusev kicks him in the leg and talks some trash. Reigns punches him before putting him in the ring. Rusev hits the ropes, and Reigns hits him with a back elbow. Rusev shoves him away and kicks him in the midsection. Rusev clubs and kicks him as Lana smiles. Rusev shoves him to the corner and punches him. Rusev continues to punch him before applying a bear hug. Reigns fights out and puts him in the corner. Reigns goes to the second rope and hits a flying clothesline. Reigns hits a shoulder block before hitting the ropes again, but Rusev takes him out with a spinning wheel kick.

We come back from the break to see Reigns trapped in a bear hug. The commentators are talking about how Rusev is dominating Reigns in the match. Reigns begins to fight up with no look of pain on his face before head-butting out. Rusev knees him in the midsection before sending him to the corner and hitting a running shoulder thrust. Rusev tries again, but he runs into a boot. Reigns then sidesteps him. Rusev sidesteps him as well, but Reigns comes back with a clothesline. Reigns hits a clothesline before having a whip reversed. Rusev knees him in the midsection and hits the ropes, but Reigns hits a Samoan Drop before punching away at him. Reigns avalanches him in the corner before ducking a clothesline and hitting a jumping clothesline for a one count. Reigns clotheslines him in the corner and punches him. Reigns goes outside and hits a running dropkick while landing on the apron.
Reigns sets up for the Superman Punch, but Seth Rollins runs down for the distraction. Rusev hits a thrust kick to the jaw. Rusev stomps the spine before going for the Accolade, but Reigns slides out and hits a back suplex powerbomb. Rollins goes to the top rope with his Money in the Bank briefcase. Rollins jumps to hit Reigns with the briefcase, but Reigns sidesteps him and connects with Rusev instead.

Winner by Disqualification: Rusev
*everybody with a brain knows that Rollins will interfere in this one. Rusev won this one and thats ok even without the DQ. 4 of 10 points.
